Should I get one?
@@johnmartin990 absolutely, it's a blast to drive. If you have access a dirt road or hard pack gravel that is the most fun to drive on. With it's smaller size it does not handle grass real well. But otherwise great value and comes with everything you need.
Can't believe This little thing 😮😮😮😮
These newer Mojave's, that come with the V2 Spektrum black edition esc's I am seeing are clocking faster speeds than the older 6s Mojaves that come with the original 6s Spektrum esc's despite both packing the same 150 amps. Previous versions seem to be in the 50 mph to 53 mph range whereas the one I have, which I just bought in May, has hit as high as 62 mph without any change of the pinion gear. My top speeds generally range between 57 mph and 62 mph. Since installing the Scorched RC inner fenders, which are the absolute best investments one could make for this vechile, the speed has droped from a high speed of 62 mph to that of 57 -58 mph range. Worth it though because they keep out nearly every piece of debris. without overheating the electronics. Trust me, yours has more left in the tank. Just need a nice long straight-away to really open her up on.
Great video. I just bought one to mess around with. I am used to flying drones lol.
What do you use for telemetry ¿
Where can I get this beast
You can order them from Amain

Steam will always be the king of tractors, I would rather plow fields in proper style!
Would you be able to turn it into a drift car if you wanted to
You probably could but would probably be better with a dedicated drift chassis.
Not too bad for brushed
Nice! Thanks for sharing! How much runtime do you get out of one charge?
20-25 minutes
Why is this so quick?
Loose dirt will let almost anything drift around but it is pretty punchy for a brushed motor.
I ordered mine at 9am the day they were announced. It still says it's not shipped yet. Where did you order from? The last truck i ordered from Tower was delivered before it ever showed up as shipped on my order history then half an hour after it was delivered i got an email from them saying it'd shipped. Last Horizon order was supposed to take 5 days for delivery and it arrived 43 hours after i clicked the order button. Both seem better at shipping than communicating the last year or so.
I ordered mine like an hour after it was announced from horizon hobby. I got a shipping notification Friday night and it showed up Saturday around noon.
@@McDon_RC good deal. I'm not really in a rush but I'm not sure why mine says awaiting shipment but they are showing up as in stock to be ordered currently. With all the screw ups during the system upgrades I still get nervous ordering from under the Horizon umbrella. Some folks were charged for orders they never got and I personally know of at least one person who got a 8s Outcast EXB free months after canceling his order. It just arrived at his house but was never charged.
@@boduke9428 yeah it's been a gamble ordering from horizon over the last year or so.
Now THIS is a tractor. None of that modern John deer computerized crap.
Shut up jhon deere is better than this steam trash
Nice review dude! This grom is by far the one that intrigued me the most, close to the Typhon grom. I'm hoping it comes here soon 🤞
Think the Mojave grom is the best out of the three groms. Great video
Agreed!
Such a shame they don't come brussless and full metal shocks funny how MJX and WL toys offer metal shocks and better stuff for cheaper price then a Arrma
You really can’t compare the companies lol
While I like my MJX cars they just have a different level of fit and finish and driving feel compared to my Granite Grom. Everything just feels it has more slop on the MJX
I like it just wish it would of bin long wheel base like the 6s in comparison to kraton an typhon. Cuz the typhon grom is bigger than Mojave
This Mojave grom see same like 1/14 car...bacause im got Q130 Pro 1/14 car too..😅if me after buy this car im 💯% must upgrade 3650 9000kv & 80a esc..😂because im got to help my friend upgrade she Granite grom use 3650 9000kv, 80a esc & use more bigger size 2s-3s battery...🤣she tell me know she are so very love it now, because too stupid fast & more easy back flip & front flip already... welcome bro to malaysia Langkawi island travel ya...
Nice 👍

@@wilber8637 thanks!
Who makes a 3650 9000kv?
@@Diaszurana im help my friend upgrade..the brushless motor brand is Surpass Hobby...
Hi, the shock oil is closer to 55wt oil
Really? That seems way too thick for the size and weight of the car.
@@McDon_RC yep 800cst shock oil
I'm not going to be rough with mine parts are hard to find nowadays😮😅
Yeah I know the Groms had diff issues with the first batch and they were backordered. These come with the upgraded v2 diffs. Other than that parts should be readily available. Shocks with a metal body might be a good upgrade from my experience lol.
@@McDon_RCI got a new diff but I haven't had any problems yet but I have a typhon grom and I have a losi nascar on order now and they all have the same diff so I have a spare 😮😅👍
Cool truck. Does that inner body shroud keep dirt out of the electronics?
Yeah it did a really good job, I was expecting it to be destroyed after ripping the baseball diamond but it was not bad at all.
@@McDon_RC Does that shroud make the brushed motor over heat, or did the fan keep the temps manageable?
@@McDon_RC I planned on skipping the Grom lineup but the Mojave seems like a fun setup to rip around a baseball field, especially if the inner shroud helps keep out debris.
@@i4nic256 the motor never seemed to get too hot. It was a hot after ripping the baseball diamond for a while but I could still hold my finger on it, and it was 90° outside.
@@McDon_RC Good to know. I’m gonna order up a blue version. Thanks for the insight. Cheers
Crossing my fingers that this comes soon! 🤞 Great video!
They started shipping to customers Friday, so I imagine people with pre-orders should get them this week.

Thanks for Watching!
Thank you for the video, Witch battery did you use on it? I'm deciding about buying the Alfa Romeo or this Abarth Fiat. I think that I'll go for the Abarth, but can you please tell the differencies between tt01-02 chasis and the one on the Abarth? Thank you so much!
The battery I used was a Gens ace G-tech 4000mah. It fits the battery tray a little tight but will fit and I get around an hour of run time. The main difference between the TT01-02 chassis is those are 4wd and a longer wheel base. I also have a TT02 and they are very good chassis as well.
@@McDon_RC Thank you so much!
Looks awesome, but not great for the high price on em
Yea a little steep for a brushed motor RC
I started having a lot more fun when I got a dedicated ramp for the RC instead of dirt mounds or grass hills . Can be unpredictable but the ramp is money every time 👍
I have a portable ramp but it's really only good for 1:10 scale. I need to get a bigger one for my larger scale RCs.
I like the 3s granite so far . I was going to get this one but found a deal on fb marketplace for a new one . I like it so far . 1/10 seems like the perfect size . 1/8 kraton is kinda big and heavy to haul around for a car .
Yeah 1/10 is kind of a sweet spot for power and ease of use. The bigger trucks are a blast but you definitely need to be more careful with space. I love my Kraton 8s but it's twice the batteries and takes up a lot of cargo space. But there is something about a 35lbs truck blasting at 60mph though a field.
Nice
Thanks!
Did yours come with sway bars in the kit?
Mine did not come with sway bars.
is this the best bang for your buck on market for my first nitro rc been thinking of this
It is pretty hard to beat it bang for your buck, this or the Nitro Rustler. Being traxxas parts availability is really good.
@@McDon_RC where different with the slash and the rustler ? Sorry for all the questions thanks
@@McDon_RC what’s **
@@dezzydez203 the big difference the slash has the 3.3cc engine and the rustler has the 2.5cc engine. They both are rated at 50mph though. The rustler is more aerodynamic and stable at higher speeds.
@@McDon_RC thanks bro I think I am going to pull the trigger on the Slash
The row of levers resembles the levers in an old-style hand operated switch house.
Love seeing them worn smooth from years of operation.
I love my 16207, 16208, and 14302. They just bash and bash and bash. My 16207 is well over 1.5 years old now and I've beat the living crap out of it. Disassembled down to the diffs, not a whiff of problems. I'm glad everybody is discovering these things now, because they make the Groms look a little silly.
Nice runs, and a good looking car!
Thanks!
Great video!
Thanks!

Does your like speed off when your not holding the trigger?
Yea mine rolls at idle, seems to be a common thing people complain about with this model. So me say richening the low speed throttle helps but I still have the issue.
@@McDon_RC thank you yeah I just bought this and kits kinda like running pretty fast
@@alexistorres8825 oh yeah it's a ripper.

That pond is really too small for a boat like that. You need to find a nice calm inlet on a lake somehwere.
Yeah, I will have to keep an eye out for good spots.
Could you possibly tell me theight of these monster truck tyres? Thanks.
They 75mm tall, just under 3 inches.
Well take her out for a roll and don't burn that wooden ceiling! Store it elsewhere!
So it is a building designed for steam engines. It has chimneys that can raise and lower over the exhaust stack of the engines so you can run them inside. This was actually after we were done and steaming it down for the day.
@@jayBharatiraanga6425 the heck even is that
Yeah I was having the same problem with my traxxas slayer pro 4x4 nitro with the idle screw I will give it a try with mine and let you know how I get on thanks for sharing big like from me bud 👌🇮🇪🤝
Fantastic video!!Where can you find these small scale platforms?
You will find them at the best prices on banggood or aliexpress but pretty sure there are sellers on amazon.
Ok
It's pretty good for the money but I will probably stick with my 14b.
@@McDon_RC I will stick with my Tekno EB410.2
