Was lucky enough to be lent a TTR-125 for our second ever pitbike race. Hands down the most fun I've had on a bike in several years!

My bike stuck "Wide Open" cuz I din't properly secure the Air Filter. The washer pinned into the Carb. I only lost 17 teeth. NBD.
Oh my God I am glad your ok ❤❤❤❤ I was scared for you
Crazy to see someone in this much pain refusing an ambulance because it’s expensive. Where im from medical assistance including ambulances are free and wouldn’t even be a question in this scenario
Go-to the.hosp ital
Just watched that video on you breaking ur back u handled it amazing glad you’re good and still ripping on the same track that tried to take ya down! 😂
Holy cow I couldn't even imagine I was on the highway and it did that on a YZ250 and I kept using my kill switch until I got home Porter and 5th gear and then pop the clutch to restart it and high gear kept doing that all the way 5 miles running it like a chainsaw
And this is why we always cover the clutch, and make sure our equipment is in perfect working order before a day at the track.
Bro thats the worst bike that could happen with
bro fr broke his back on the cr500 then comes back to it once in a while what a legend
Hows that back of yours??? No more CR500??
It's doin alright! Been 10 years now since that incident. Still have the 500, pulled a case stud in practice 2 years ago and I haven't gotten around to swapping the cases. Plan is build it for racing next year and do a thorough teardown on the CR125
Beautiful track. What year Honda?
@fmfrider1550 This one's a 97, bought it a few years ago off a guy I used to ride on the street with
its insane to me how these things sound like they are ideling but you are really going 60mph lmao.
Another video recommended to us after 10 years.
One finger should always be on the clutch and ready to pull in.
Try standing up with back pain what kind of medic is this? Jesus lucky you are not paralyzed man glad you are ok brother
all these riders going hell bent for election, its no wonder they break bones....slow down!
Happened to me on my CR-500AF which was ported, had the head decked and had a rad-valve as well. That was in the second practice of the day. 8-13-2017. I kept it perfectly straight until I could pull in the clutch. Then, I needed a place to lay it down because the throttle was still stuck WFO and the second turn after some long whoops was coming up waaay fast. I spotted some small little berms on my right to the inside of the corner where I laid it down. I was all good except my right leg was pinned underneath my bike. Another racer on a Honda stopped and freed me from my predicament. After a long push back to the pits, I grabbed my KTM 250 2-stroke and rode another practice and 1 lap of the 1st moto until a guy in front of me fell to the left on what was a gas it and go right hand bend in the track. He fell right in front of me. I hit him square in the back and endoed my KTM, which ended up perfectly balanced, but lying up side down on the track. Balanced on the handlebars. But, that crash broke my right humerus and because of all the screwed up insurance crap, it was never fixed. To this day my right arm is 1 to 1-1/2 inches shorter than my left. I try to do a push up and I tip over! I raced from 4-29-79 to 8-13-2017 and haven't raced a day since.
American healthcare is crazy. He would rather risk paralysis/death than pay for a hospital visit 😨
Just fyi, that's not your fault. It happened quicker than even i could react and I'm lightning fast. As soon as you seen the tire in the video it was already over. Just curious how did the bike fare?
Ended up with a bent subframe and muffler. Bike damage wasnt bad at all
Great video I have the same bike and the Saber 65 I was wondering how the windshield was on the Magna looking for a one. Thanks again excellent video
Yo you good bro
I call bs...if the throttle was stuck the bike would have still been running immediately after the crash. Looks more like a lack of talent
Jesus christ. Not even the worst crash and it breaks your back. Just goes to show how bad things can turn so quickly. I drive a 1400 and that thing is so scary to touch the throttle. I have slipped on the throttle grip once and almost lost it. That bastard pulls so hard when you ain’t ready….
"what hurts buddy?" "chough chough chough"
Happened to hit my back really hard a couple years ago, was a metal pole I flew into on a trampoline. Anyways couldn't breathe for a good minute or two. Laying on my stummach helped. Back hurt for a few days but eventually felt fine again, so I didn't break it at least.
i never understood why 2 strokes dont have dual throttle wires like 4 strokes to prevent this. ive had throttles sticking on every single 2 stroke ive owned but luckily ive gotten used to it and immedietly pull in the clutch now. (i also keep atleast 1 finger on the clutch at all times now)
Are you good yes or no
Personally cr500 are more meant for open desert and hillclimbs it’s not really a trash type of bike unless it’s built for track
That is a nasty bike to be wrecking on. I ride too, but a 125, 150 and 250 is all i ride. I don't need anything any bigger than that lol. If the throttle sticks on any of those, you'll still get hurt. But those smaller bikes don't have the hp those bigger bikes have. I have ridden bigger bikes before don't get me wrong, smaller bikes are more fun tho lol
Shit man fuck
You know it's bad when bro crashes, and he doesn't immediately get up to check his bike.
im getting worried. you haven’t posted in a while.
how are you doin? you havent posted in a while..
damn dude i was so glad to see you move your legs after that
ive heard a thing or 2 about these cr500s they sure seem scary. like a japanese Oni haha. glad youre okay after that one though
First of all why tf are you on a 500 at big air.
Oh if we only had gopro's back in the glory days. I was next to friend looped it on broken black slate. (Nevada Desert) He bounced turned and bounced again. His back looks like a checker board. Hard hit you took it will bet better with time. Until you 50 then look out. I am toast at 63.
I hope you get better soon
And I broke my ankle
Listen I got into a bad motorcycle accident
Sounds incredible..is it too loud for around town use if i kept the baffle in?
I can't work out what happened.
Damn that sucks. I can't believe whiskey throttle broke your back. I whisky throttled my 450 at like 40mph a few weeks ago and was lucky enough to walk away with just some scrapes. Seeing how often people get hurt riding dirt bikes makes me consider giving it up. This week in my town alone there's been at least one motorbike death and a few hospital visits.
Why don’t they go to hospital
Just the video I’ve been looking for. Thanks man.
Since when do you ask the injured person for a medical diagnosis? He's not a freakin' doctor and he can't possibly know how badly he's injured. You assume the worst if it's not obvious and just stabilize him until the medics get there. I get so sick of hearing, "Are you okay, buddy?"
That's right, he could have had something he wasn't feeling, that was totally wrong. The shortness of breath he felt at the beginning is no longer normal, it was certainly the earth, but what was there Something else, but anyway, I hope this guy is okay.
I’m glad your ok seriously but no excuse for this. A throttle should never stick open. It’s a flaw in the design because if NASA built one I know it would never stick. Need to find a way to design that to wear the throttle cannot stick from the throttle all the way to the carb. This could have been one crappy life of breathing through a tube in bed the rest of your life
Lol, i just watched the video from the other guys perspective! Y'all should combine the vids!
Where you using a back plate or back protection?
That's crazy that he broke his back from getting looped near heard of that happening
