Frank Sinatra's Final "My Way" Live Performance (1994) - LQ
มุมมอง 491K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Unfortunately, there has been various copyright issues in the past that has caused this video to become un-uploadable to TH-cam, so various copyright barriers have been put in place including mild filtering, slowness but it is still on pitch. This is the only full recording captured on TH-cam of Frank Sinatra's final performance of his 1969 hit "My Way" written by Paul Anka. This video showcase...
Reading the comments, it makes me glad. People all describe what I saw and felt. So I will just leave it at that. There is no one like Frank Sinatra. God bless everyone.
This is not a BAD performance. This is actually the greatest performance because it adds more into the depper lyrics.
I guess I look at this a bit differently. When a great performer like Sinatra ages, it's not the exact lyrics that he's trying to achieve. It's more the the total feel and control of the song. It's the projection that really matters. And as far as that goes,. Frank never lost a step. He owned this song and made it clear in his delivery! Great performance!
This is a beautiful last song even before I knew this was his last song you can feel your eyes water even slightly and the lyrics made it seem like it was his last song which IS how I got the idea to look up if it was...and here this video it :)
😢😢😢😢
Reminds me of Johnny Cash's later performances; of course they couldn't sing the same way they did before, but they both have such special voices it's just a pleasure to hear them anyway, and if anything their limitations at that part of their lives bring an entirely new perspective on the song.
My late Dad would always sing this beautiful song to my late Mum. Miss them both so much in my life ❤😢❤
him forgetting lyrics really goes to show how much his dementia was effecting him
He outlived so many artists who covered this tune, But that's what the song is about. You live, you die, so be it.
Please know that Frank sometimes liked to change the lyrics up a bit when singing his songs. He also was inclined to sing off the beat sometimes during songs to make it more interesting. At this age, he was still killin’ it. I would have walked 100 miles to see him perform. He was the Master.
Thank you for the upload however a small title correction, Sinatra was never about LQ! :) Frank Sinatra's Final "My Way" Live Performance (1994) - MUHD always! Even towards his end more expression in one word than others could express in a lifetime ..
I feel like his voice was still there , but his condition really slowed him down but he was probably like 79 when he did this so respect, and respect to singers that age still going that are still going strong like Tom Jones and Englebert.
He did it.. his way...
His way thank you frank rip
Yeah that's right, crop it the video
Yikes. I'll just remember the good old days...
Nothing wrong with the performance. Raw ones like this better than the usual polished ones and mean so much more. A little gravely voice added texture but the vigor has always been his character.
O man my dad loved him. RIP pops
This song proves he did the impossible... but in 1997 he died😢😢😢😢😢😢
On his worst day, he was better than all the rest. Miss you, Mr. Sinatra.
Ole blue eyes, we still miss you
Frank was a true man.
He was the best of best of all time
MISS U MORE
He tried so hard to get Dean Martin to tour with him after Deans son Dean Junior died crashing his plane following orders
Rest In Peace Frank. I loved your songs man.
He may have forgotten the lyrics, but he never forgot how to sing.
non non non cette chanson et FRANCAISE comme d"abitude claude francois
Frank, we did it our way we all get old
Dutchman here..I was about 10ys old, when I heard that mr Sinatra died. When I heard my grandfather and dad talk about him, I wanted to listen to him. Blew my mind.. Got some great LPs through the years, and played them when my kids were baby's. They are 10 and 14 and they still like the songs I play.. What a legacy, and thankfull for the great memory's ...
Had no business on stage at this point. 😵💫
Shudda hellup pork chop
Let the chairman do what he wants
Feliz cumpleaños Maestro.-
If you ever have a doubt about going on with life,...Give it another shot. This Iconic song will re-instill your hope and purpose,
Saw him few times in 80's.. thebest
So glad to see him still blasting it at age 82
Mom requested My Way at her funeral service…We followed through on her behalf…Worked out well with Frank signing off in Mom’s memory…
È la mia canzone preferita.Nasce come:"comme d'abitude",in Francia poi tradotta Frank Sinatra ne ha fatto un capolavoro.❤
One comunist, and you can not beat him?
I watched Frank Sinatra when he performed in the Philippines in 1994. I was 26 yrs old. He told a joke about being sunburned in Manila then repeated the same joke after singing another song. But his voice was still there. When he sang My Way it was the greatest performance.
I doubt that anyone in recent memory squeezed more out of life than Frank... He left nothing on the table...
LEGEND i thought it was perfect
A MIS 70 SIEMPRE A MI MANERA Y SIEMPRE FELIZ GRACIAS A DIOS✌️🥃
I saw Sinatra at the Desert Inn in 1993. The end was truly near. The Maguire sisters were in attendance that night and he introduced them there times - each time as it was the first.
E' commovente ma va bene così lo ha fatto alla Sua Maniera.
Johnny Fontaine !
Immense chanteur, j'écoute souvent ses chansons, Merci Monsieur Sinatra !
Never like Frank , what an embarrassment should have just stayed home, looks and sounds like shit
We'll all look and sound like shit when we're 80
0:59 i think i hear him getting choked up, might have also been why he seemed to forget some of the lyrics, he, at the time was 79 (or 78) and the reason for that is probably because he is realizing that the end is actually near, and that he is singing what essentially is what is his remembrance as, someone who made his career, his way. 2:00, he also seems to shed a tear. but who am i to say, he did after all have alzheimers, so i can't be sure on the poetic nature of it.
😢 RIP.
Spezza il cuore vederlo così anziano e dimenticare qualche parola...😢 Riposa in Pace ❤
