This game is like an infamous ps1 RPG that everyone should find and play met a ps2 game that everyone should find and play andhad a baby. The baby was then raised by legendary composers who were all raised by legendary ps1/snes era composers and they all made a soundtrack to celebrate RPG greatest hits with remixes that are as good as the original Then that baby got married to a battle designer with the same type of upbringing This is the child of that situation

Sadly it takes above average intelligence and years of context to understand the beauty, depth, and intricacies of this game which is why it will probably take a while years even for normies to realize just how great a game it is. Like seriously when the main critique of the game is that it has too much thats a surefire way to know its good. This game overachieves and sadly just like in real life overachievers can come across as overwhelming and amnoying to others. Real will always recognize real though which is why despite the apparent negativity most of the people who know what they are talking about when it comes to game making that ive seen have delivered nothing but praise for the game.

So what, the gameplay and combat especially is God tier. But sure let's heap praise instead on the game where you play as a monkey man in Dark Souls clone # 597

FF13 This game has no Townz and is follow the yellow brick road, FF7 Rebirth This game is Bloated This game was at 94 on Meta then 93 then 92 Then 93 then 92 then 93 then 92 again and its because of FF8 and 9 fans that are afraid this game is going to get GOTY so they can't brag about your 49 meta critic reviews from 24 years ago. that gave your game a 93 when rebirth has over 150 Meta Critic reviews. if we took the first 50 It would have a perfect 10. this is why so many critics started to fight over the score and added so many reviews to it, a lot of the other titles this year do not have the same amount of reviews on meta this game has the most total reviews and I promise you some of those reviewers where salty asf FF9 fans that didn't want it to score higher than 9.

The amount of passion that went into this game is incredible. And they paid so much respect for the fans and the original game. And they gave us SO MUCH GAME!! it was an unreal experience playing through. I had a smile on my face for so long while playing FF Rebirth that my face began to hurt. Never experienced that before.

GoTY should only be between FF7 Rebirth and Black Myth Wukong. I love Elden Ring but Shadow is a DLC, the base game already won before, dont be greedy.

Thank You for this video, it's restoring my faith in humanity. FF7 Rebirth is so good that the only argument that have found the haters is that the game has "too much content" or "bloated content" even if they didn't play at all or didn't play the game properly. If the game was from Rockstar/Nintendo/From Soft, or not named "Final Fantasy" people would say it's GOTY. But there is so much hatred against this game for weird reasons, while the silent majority loved FF7 Rebirth.

Just played it and beat it for the second time this year. Can confirm it's GOTY. Hopefully Square will continue working on the bugs and shit textures on the Aerith date like they did with Remake. 😂❤

Leaving this here for anybody who comes in the future, after hours of extensive testing: For people in Tyrants Star, here’s a comprehensive guide: For under level 78 Archetype EXP, go for the Golden and Silver big teeth that spawn from the two Meloncolia crystals. Best way to kill them at low level is Royal Masked Dancer / Persona Master and Destroyers / Royal Berserker. Systematic Destruction the golden tooth, Wanton the Silver one, full party charge. After level 78, one shot the fish. Break two of the three melancholia crystals. Only the north most crystal actually summons fish, so keep that one. Now, this part depends on the difficulty. On lower difficulties, it is fastest to kill them while using Seeker / Prince type weapons, due to the first attack being a fast poking attack that should one shot the fish on lower difficulties. On higher difficulties, one shotting the fish is harder. The fastest way to kill them now is to use Dragoon from a distance, it’ll take 3 shots if they notice you and one shot otherwise. Alternatively, knight also works quite well due to the long poking attack, and a couple one shot attacks. For under level 78 character exp, kill the fish activating squad battles without knocking them down first, just press triangle. You want all party members on Elemental Master, and use Junah, but not Heismay, the rest do not mind. Junah should move first, use Meteophor. On very low levels, this won’t one shot the fish, so just use a different fire attack to finish off the fish. Give Junah either Inferno Rod or Yggdrasil Rod, and the Overlords Sash. Also, equip ALL party members archetypes with Aim Support, else you will miss constantly. This part is important, HAVE AT LEAST 2 PARTY MEMBERS WHICH NULL / REPEL / DRAIN FIRE. Else on higher difficulties, if the fish ambushes you he can easily one shot your party. Easiest way to do this is Cardinal Dragon Robe. For over level 78 character exp, just insta kill the fishes in the same manor as post 78 archetype exp. Use Prince / Seeker on lower difficulties, Dragoon / Knight on higher. Other thing of note, if you are insta killing the fishes, only have your mc in the party. This reduces chances of breaking the melancholia crystal. If you do, walk into the “strong enemy” area behind you and then walk back. Don’t worry, it won’t trigger a fight, if you want the final boss to be as strong as possible, so you can safely do this and it will be faster then walking to Akademeia. Save every so often for safety, as on higher difficulties you can get sent far back. “Im not earning as much exp / aexp / mag as in the video” - 2 reason: Changes with difficulty and Changes with level. The higher level you are relative to the enemy, the less exp you will gain. This goes for squad battles and for insta kills. This works the same way with difficulty. I have maxed all characters level, maxed all characters archetypes and unlocked all skills for all characters using the above method on Regicide and Easy mode, when their is a difference between the two, it is noted.

Do these give less aexp the higher level you are? I went and did the 3 fish mag farm then went to teeth to farm aexp and im only getting 900 aexp for them instead of 5800*. I am level 92

But now halfway through the card queen quest, the Direct rule has somehow spread throughout Dollet and in the process of trying to abolish that, I've somehow managed to spread Random too and Balamb's rules don't seem to be sticking, and I hate life and Triple Triad can f*** off until I get to Disc 4 😊

can you complete this dungeon early and then fight the dragons ?

I have a very similar build to this, except favoring Aard over Igni, to take advantage of the `bitter cold` Aard ability. Interestingly, in watching you demonstrate the same basic build but favoring Igni, it works about as well, just slightly different. Obviously the animations are different, you do get the collateral burn effect from igni that you don't get from Aard, but Aard also pushes them and helps keep them off you. It's almost half a dozen of one and six of another, but I think I'm going to try your build and test that a bit more thoroughly.

Gonna say my set up protagonist whit prince plus 3 more royal arche you need a.exp rings and all royal tipes at lvl 20 go talk whit more and you get a new sintesis armagedon dows 9999fixed damage passive of drop and mp on other members of party and on main character the skill reduce sintesis at half enjoy one shot for 50mp buy neuras mp pot oe just use the item to go back to star rest and return

The Yrden magic trap is supposed to destroy projectiles, but it doesn't do so about half the time.

Idk why theyd make the skill so bad. 4 icons and 100mp is a ridiculous price when Royal Blade/ any random warrior warrior skill is either doubling or trippling that damage with just Charge

Whats the fing point for this to be put in the final dungeon i would like to lvl up archetypes for the dragon fights witout entering the last dungeon.

I missed out on this cuz at the very last minute, I was grinding out archetype levels for my protagonist to 100% the book.. AND I FORGOT STROHL WAS LEVEL 15 NOT LEVEL 20 AAHKFJKDDKDBDHWNXIFNRH What's worse is that I also grinded up heismay FROM SCRATCH (so like level 20 assassin) for the royal archetype all the way up to level 20.

Their spawn rate is pretty bad for me , like once every 10 mins...

Can't you just ambush them in the overworld with the thief class? You get a chance to steal when you get the stun on enemies in the overworld. I farmed 60 jeweled root from the mimics in the disgraced ruins. It took like 20 min lol

Doubt they'll patch it. Not only do those enemies respawn if you kill them. This is also the only place that the crystals respawn. It's not a bug.

That amount of damage is enough to 1-shot not just non-boss target, but also some boss as well And for Human enemies with damageable parts...once they get hit by it, most of them will be forced to continue fighting in half-dead state, completely crippled.

maxing all archetypes is not needed, you just need to unlock every archetype which is houndredthousands of exp less than leveling the last in the line to max

Aren't these items removed when you start New Game+ ? Or is it only actual stat boosting items

Once you hit lvl 79+ you can one shot anything in that area. I found it quicker to go northeast to where 2 portals spawn 3 enemies and go crazy there.
