Is Mark Wahlberg's Tequila Good? Celebrity Tequila Talks
Si, I am a purest when it comes to Mezcal and Tequila. But I do not mind drinking Reposado and Anejo and Cristalino.😂
First watch and truly enjoyed your content
I like to keep the blanco on my bar for people tequila curious
The town of Arandas is at 2,069 m. You are mistaken in saying that the area of Los Altos is at 5 to 6000 m - that is getting wayyyyy up there. Maybe you are thinking of feet? Tequila Ocho says La Cañada is at 2,115 m. I cannot find what the altitude of San Jeronimo is.
One of the most underrated brands out there. You heard it here first this is the next cazacanes in the USA. My notes: lighter body than many other tequilas, great legs. Vegetal, mineral, anise, citrus and white pepper are what I get from it the most(In no particular order). One of the things that stands out the most is the lack of ethanol on the nose and just how easy it is to drink. One of my current favorite tequilas. Wishing the brand the best, but for now it’s a very well kept secret in my opinion.
Nice review. Shout out to Akron Ohio..also from the 330
You don't need to do the fancy accent every other word little bro.
Nice review! Lalo is what true tequila tastes like. NO ADDITIVES1 Not even wood barrel flavoring. A pure tequila rendering. Delightful!
Aloha from Hawaii. New subscriber here. Very nice video!
How does the decadas compare with the ordinary 7 leguas blanco (which isn't really ordinary - that is just how I term it).
So you liked it? Jajajaja
This channel is nothing but a shill for the multinational industrialized tequila refineries.
I wish we could get this in South Africa, just love Tequila
No existe ningún ángel de la independencia en méxico... si te refieres a la estatua del paseo de la refórma, representa a La Victoria Alada y nada que ver con un ángel... jajajajaja!!!
You have earned a new subscriber! Love this tequila! Straight, on the rocks or in a margy! You're restaurant is in Akron? Sheesh ill have to stop by when I move to Cincy!
I had FREE samples when I was in Vegas recently… honestly it was good😂
Additives
I did not like the cristalino. I wish I got the reposado one instead. the blanco and xa are top tier though
The blanco is amazing and a decent price.
This channel needs to grow! Best tequila channel 😎
Love your videos bro. I’ve recently got into tequila and already got quite a selection..lol Keep up the good work with your channel.
this guy is so good
$12000 at the F1 event in miami hahaha
Codigo is my absolute favorite in all expressions. I need to give the mezcal and still strength a shot too!
I feel the same way about whisky and have just started exploring the variety tequila can offer. Smooth is not the objective, I like strong bold highlights delivered in a quality spirit.
Very good information
I agree with you 100%. A special release Blanco is out of this world and the extra anejo has perfect balance and flavor
The Blanco. Blancos just taste so great - so agave fruity and so complex. I can appreciate a good barrel rested expression, but every time I drink one, I still feel the juice is just being tainted to attract… Whiskey drinkers? or other similar types of barrel flavor inclined drinkers? I’m convinced these kinds of drinkers are just so used to mainly barrel heavy spirits simply because that’s all they can really enjoy since their base spirit (like for a whiskey) is likely not that good (usually harsh), so they have to rely on barrel age stuff maybe? They can’t get their palate around a nice, blanco spirit like a tequila right away, probably I guess it can just be preference, too, though - some people may actually just prefer woody flavors. Palates are all different. And weird. Haha.
That’s why I always say that tequilas that are barreled technically have “additives” because of the nature of what the wood is doing to the raw agave notes and flavor! For me it’s all dependent on mood and setting on what I prefer to drink! Cheers 🥂
I love this dive into the mocktail scene! Also, a fun range of topics was discussed.
thanks for enjoying this episode! mocktails are definitely a wave!
Right now I'm enjoying a bottle of Siete Leguas Blanco, and it's a level up from your average comercial brand of Tequila. I am sipping it straight and it is so smooth, I strongly recomend it.
I’m glad to hear you are enjoying it! Salud 🥂
“I’m definitely making love to this glass of tequila” 🤣🤣
If you want a bad hangover go for it, get a good additive free like el tesoro or siete laguas instead.
Just tried this tequila thanks to your video it’s amazing
Amazing 🤩 salud and thank you for watching! Check out the newest video
👍👍👏👏👏❤️❤️🥃🥃
Salud 🥂
My fav budget tequila will always be Cimmaron
Cimarrón is a great selection
Are there any tequilas that age in cognac barrels? I would love to see a video on those if they exist.
There is currently nothing that I am aware of on the market but I would love to see something like that on the market!
Could you talk about iztic tequila?
We’ll add that to our list 🙌🏽
I just recently got into drinking additive free tequila and I like to say thanks for this very informative video. So far I’ve got a bottle of G4 blanco and a bottle of Cazcanes reposado no7.
You’re definitely starting on the right track those are amazing tequilas! Thank you for watching
Lobos Reposado >>>
Im glad you like Lobos 🐺
Overpriced tequila 👎
I Can see where you think that 👏🏽
Wrong glass
Any glass works :)
Wonderful Tequila Wonderful Video
Salud 🥂
Great video, just started drinking good tequila, just bought Lalo and it is so smooth, one of my favorite blancos.
Lalo is extremely citrusy and agave forward very clean as well on the palate! I’m glad you had a good experience
GC is better than patron and don julio
Not only in flavor but definitely the price 🙌🏽
The abocados isnt just dont for consistency. It is to mask the bitter tequila because they use immature agave. They can produce more tequila using 3 year old immature agave.
Abocantes add consistency to the production for that same exact reason you just mentioned, yes. Using premature agave creates the necessity to create a product that is always “consistent”
You are doing this video simply to promote an industrialized tequila that sells for a high price due to marketing, not because the tequila is of high quality. They use immature agave and then the juice comes out bitter and tanic. The only way to market it, is to put it in a nice bottle and manipulate the flavors so it taste "smooth" and sweet but not like tequila. That smoothness is glycerin.
I understand that and I alluded to it in the video! I review and talk about ALL tequilas, and I definitely prefer the additive free ancestrally produced product
Why even try to promote industrialized tequilas that use additives unless the entire premise of the video is to just point that out. They put out nothing that is "high quality" as you mentioned. You need to put in more time and train your palate to be able to identify highly concentrated additives. It is real easy to tell after a couple years.
I can talk about and review whatever I want :) My training comes at my restaurant so trust me I have a pretty well refined palate which we put to use at my private paring dinners :) you should come to one
You guys are awesom. I enjoy watching this video, it seems very natural for both of you to communicate things, that we need to do to be successful. Good job
Thanks mom ☺️
True! I don't want to burn out my sinus's.
It has the year, estate, and bottle number… lote is probably not super important to know but still mandated, by the CRT, to put on the bottle
I love that insight! It’s just unique how we can taste variations from different lote
