It's not a patriotic song. The song does not praise any specific country, but communism, which is a different thing. The soviet UNION was the negation of bourgois small national states and not the glorification of it.

La Commune était très particulière quand même. Socialiste d'accord, mais aussi autogéré et avec une part de nationalisme quand on parle du rejet des Prussiens. On (et les révolutionnaires de 1917 particulièrement) a trop tendance à la simplifier.
La commune est né d'un soulèvement nationaliste opposé à la paix humiliante signé par des bourgeois et des royalistes prêts à vendre le pays pour se débarrasser de l'Empire. C'est son premier combat, qui évoluera ensuite en une nouvelle forme de gouvernement, opposé jusqu'au bout à la paix avec l'ennemi.

Why the fuck is this song on TH-cam? As a Greek I tell to take down this video. The Golden Dawn was the reason why so many leftists and immigrants lost their lives for nothing. My family was afraid that they might raise to power. That we would be toetured and even killed, just because of the way we thought.
In Greece, we call the Paris commune "H πρώτη έφοδος στον ουρανό", which translates to "the first foray towards the sky". I believe it fits it perfectly.
