Should've gotten Shane Black to write and direct. The man knows buddy cop movies inside and out. Although the premise of this might be a little too soft for his taste.

For anyone wondering that was an AR-7 survival rifle. The barrel screws into the bolt and trigger group assembly, which is held down by a screw through the grip of the shoulder stock. Those, plus an 8 round magazine slides into the stock, and is sealed by the end cap. The entire rig is buoyant so you dont have to worry about it sinking to the bottom of the sea if you have to bail out over water (one of its uses was as an emergency rifle packed into ejection seats). Its cambered in .22lr rim fire, so you're pretty much just hunting rabbits, but in that kind of situation any gun is better than no gun. Needless to say, that 'round about .40 caliber pistol gunshot sound effect was WAY off! LoL

Ok, that was a Henry survival rifle. It’s 22LR. It’s not going to go boom like that one did. More like a semi crack noise. I’ve got one. Neat little rifle.

Denny was using a Henry AR-7 Survival Rifle, that shoots .22 caliber bullets. Those small rounds are so that you can "survive" on stuff like squirrels, birds or other small game. Unless that man is VERY, VERY, VERY unlucky he'll survive and be out with a few stitches (maybe) and band-aid.

For those who don't know? The gun he used is an _'AR-7'_
