KK are the kings of a reel feeling great out of the box but 5 fishing trips later they start making some weird noises. I have 4 or 5 KK reels. ALL of them have some kind of weird thing with them. 2 others are just unusable so they met their demise. Shimano and Daiwa only for me now.

The 200 size Curado has a larger/heavier spool so it won't cast as far as the 150 because of the inertia of the spool.

I have all three of those tools. When I was young and bulletproof I framed houses with the rigging axe. It eventually tore up my elbow and got moved into the camp gear. I've always had an Estwing axe, always will, but that steel handle will rattle you regardless of the rubber coating. The Trail Boss is new to me, but my limited use of it has made me pretty happy with my purchase. If you hurry over to Midway, you can get the Trail Boss and an SRK knife for $55 plus shipping.

12:05 I busted my butt in that exact spot a couple weeks ago. Water was way higher and that area was all mud. That made 2 weeks in a row that I fell in mud trying to walk along a creek. Found some nice turkey tracks there as well. No fish, tho.

I purchased the zephyr last fall and i am pleased.I have it paired up with a sougayilang rod that i purchased from Walmart online. The model is 602ul. The rod is described as a trout rod and the lure weight is 1/16 to 3/8oz and line weigth is 2 to 8lb .best to use no lower than 6lb cause somtimes on a overrun the line will get behind the spool

Like your down home approach. Fly fishing is made difficult by manufactures selling high priced gear that does not guarantee catching more fish, as you have just proved. There may be an application or a location that does; like British Columbia or Alaska, but not for park bass.

Really helpful tips thanks for the video 😀 but I don't bring a storage box because I often go on different types of trips like Backpacking or normal Camping trips and i almost all the time bring different gear and pack different items depending on the weather and the amount of people I go with and in Germany nobody has a pickup truck (at least nobody I know)🤣 And you can often zip 2 blanked style sleeping backs together to make a 2-Person sleeping bag.
