US Citrus
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 6 ม.ค. 2017
Since 2012, US Citrus has been establishing groves in the perfect sandy loam soil of Hargill, a tiny town in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. The community has rewarded us with bountiful inspiration, strengthening our citrus culture.
US Citrus is established in Hargill, TX. US Citrus quickly became the largest employer of this tiny town. There, lemon, orange, mandarin, grapefruit, lime, and specialty citrus groves were established. Many were the only varieties growing in the United States!
After many years of tree growth, US Citrus, partnering with other small growers in the Rio Grande Valley, offers the Craft Citrus Club. A unique citrus subscription box to make the best citrus fruit available to the American consumer year-round. All fresh-harvested, tree-ripened, and based on the seasonality of the citrus!

Hello! Is this product good for air plants? If so what would be the mixture?
yes just spray it on 2oz/gal :)
When growing citrus from seed, when is it reasonable to prune the whip sapling for the first time?
First!!!
Looking tasty! Deep Purple?? Grapefruit👍
very delicious grapefruit... song Smoke on the water
I have an indoor lemon tree all the spinosad products I see say outdoor use
Haha these comments 😂 but love the video, very relaxing music that fact that the host is very handsome. Just saying.. well let me go prune my lemon tree. Now I gotta find a video that will explain why the leaves around the base of my plant are turning yellow😢
Thank you.😊
What an awesome tutorial this is. It’s so simple and this guy has a really relaxing aura about him
How to cure orange leaf become black
Nice!!!
Just purchased my trees from the mercado location today. Very satisfied with my products from US Citrus. I can't wait for my trees to produce.
65 degrees is summer tempratures not freezing where i live
I hope you start selling trees again. I bought a tiny Australian finger lime in 2019. It's almost as tall as me now and it bloomed for the first time this summer. I would enjoy having a kaffir lime tree--they're hard to find.
We apologize for the delay in responding. Interested in one of these special trees? Give us a cal and we'll be happy to help you get one! office: (956) 855-6029
Can you eat lemon leaves
Very beautiful. We in Indonesia also produce a lot of kaffir lime leaves
Yes all of them
Great tutorial!!! Would you consider doing a video on repotting? Thanks!
Great video x
Excellent and clear information. I could tell right away how much of a horticulturist you are by your vocabulary and nuanced suggestions. Stands out from many other "how to" videos. Thank you for this!
English
Thank you
Is that a variety of its own???
How about some citrus growing advise instead of this confusing rant.
My first time on US Citrus. The music in the videos is too loud. Music is nice, but needs to be lowered. Good information drowned out by interfering music. Thank you.
I bought a finger lime tree from you in I think 2019. It went from a tiny little 4-6" thing to 4+'. It puts on a growth spurt every time it rains. Hopefully, it will bloom soon!
Hi Alicia, how often are you fertilizing it?
Love your tasty citrus and wish you all the very best! Keep on growing!
Rohvannyn, thank you so nice of you!
Seems like there was some really good information here but it was almost impossible to see what you were doing with those weird camera angles. And frankly, the music was over the top for this video.
Assuming you mean 40 F as cold.
Thank you so much for sharing with us
You are so welcome
What an awesome tutorial! So informative and so clearly expressed. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
My citrus tree is about 30cm and it has about 15cm with out leafs and in the top 15cm leafs. How can i get leafs to the bottom too ?
I’ve been growing a lim tree from a seed for like 8 years now. Never once saw a flower, no fruit, not sure what I’m doing wrong, but it is a nice sized tree that I will be putting in the ground this spring. 😊
Your tree has to be grafted to produce fruit if it's grown from seed
What does grafting mean I wonder? 🤔
So do we just need to graft those said trees ourselves, or do you mean it will not produce any fruit due to being grown from seed?
Out of curiosity, how is a 15-40 watt LED grow light sufficient for a plant that requires so much sunlight? Wouldn't a more dense grow light such as a 100 watt LED grow light be even better? Thank you!
Very well narrated
I love these mandarins I just got! So amazing!
Glad you like them!❤🎉
I didn’t know you made juice!…
Art we just started! It’s called ri-co-ci-to
You're seriously tempting me to get BOTH kinds of boxes. LOL. Only I can't quite eat them that fast.
haha citrus is a wholesome temptation
You folks aren't kidding, the grapefruit you grow is my favorite, bar none. So tasty! And, honestly sweet!
thank you rohvannyn! it makes it all worth it getting it to great customers like yourselves!
Hi, thanks for the video. Around 2 years ago I planted some lime, orange and mandarin trees in my garden. Their trunks look good but they don’t get taller. I haven’t pruned them yet. They have a lot of leaves and thorns. How can I prune them? Should I prune them hard? I mean should I prune all the leaves from the root to the top? Should I leave some leaves ?
I have a lemon tree that is very young, 4 months old. It is just one stalk and it is growing but with no branches yet; it is approx. 19 inches tall. Is it too soon to prune?
We've been getting the Rio box and got a Grande box today. The fruit is so fresh and so delicious! We absolutely love it. Thank you so much for everything you do!!!! We love US Citrus!
Thank you so much for your support Samantha - it helps small rural Texas ag businesses!
Just received my 30 lb box of grapefruits today and swear by the benefits of their delicious juice!!!
Thank you Ferman, you’re in on the South Texas Secret!
can you tell me why the internet says that a citrus tree needs 20-30 DLI by day, which equals 12 hours of 200watt grow light..... and you say a 24w light is enough? (ok you showed it on a seedling). but does it work for a 2m tree? in fruiting stage?
You're grapefruits are incredible, maybe my favorite fruit. I'm looking forward to citrus season!
it's here now! can't wait to get you some!
It would be better if you packed without using any plastic.
it's recycled bubble wrap!
@@USCitrus The mesh bags? Seems like you could use shredded paper maybe and paper bags. Definitely beautiful looking fruit and I love citrus.
I'm absolutely ecstatic that you're back in business. When the greenhouses took that hit, I thought it was the end. So glad to be wrong. Keep doing what you're doing, your fruit is awesome! I just renewed my subscription. Would have gotten the bigger box but I wanted ALL the kinds of fruit not just oranges and grapefruits. It's all so fantastic! My folks are getting citrus for Christmas this year for sure.
Thank you so much for all the love and support! Hope you are enjoying the fruit :)
Show and focus the tree not you
did you hear that cameraman??!!! - focus!
What does this do? Is it to get bugs off the trees?
you got it!
Are you ever going to restart your citrus box subscriptions?
Yes! T minus one week or so!
