we paid 1300 for the boat. even if there were 4 it would have been same or 200-300 more depending on the person. As of now the prices are way up. almost double i guess as pr our recent subscriber interaction. If you want cheaper then you can do it as a part of the group. Check on official booking counter for these shikaras . or book the full boat whether 2, 4 people or 6- price should be for the boat. Hope that helps.

Hi, Veg food is available in mandrem and other adjoining areas.. You might have to drive a bit on either side if you re looking for a pure veg restaurant but im sure you ll find atleast one, if not many.. for current updates you ll have to google up and im sure you ll be able to find one, else ask a local upon your visit.... We stayed at a hotel 750metres before the temple... so while going towards the temple you ll see in the video the hotel name and there is a restaurant as well.... plenty of paved parking... simple , neat and clean rooms.. pause the video as we enter/leave the hotel.. you ll get the name..wasnt listed online then , dont know if they are online now.. Hey! i just checked , we had already travelled some distance when the screenshot appears on the screen. It was when we had crossed mysuru airport and travelled 5-10 kms... that is what i said in the next line... Also i checked from mysuru airport its 116 kms approx.... hope that helps

you can take 116 kms from .ysuru airport... and rest from the hotel/home in mysuru to mysuru airport to get a better idea why there is too much difference (266 kms in your case). Enjoy your trip...

Hi there! Thank you so much for your feedback! We would suggest you to book your hotel within 1 km range of Hyderabadi biryani house.. There are many hotels around here, plus food options, supermarket, street food and also attractions are nearby..Lake (4-5 km)is also driveable or you can take taxi(be prepared for traffic jam of 20-30 minutes on the way to the lake) .... Waterfalls(opposite direction 7-8 km) are also not far... Talk to Harris 9447112654 and he shall be able to provide some good options (he has 2-3 properties including tea and coffee estates too). Apart from him we dont have anyone there ... Hope that helps. we met him randomly and stayed at one of his budget properties(dont remember name) during our visit .. All the best and good luck..

Go for shikara.. many reasons.. its 3-4 hours ride and you can pay as per time spent on the shikara.. moroever the houseboat ride is also from 2 or 3 pm till sunset .. max 5:30 you ll reach your docking point and morning out at 10 am.. then again you ll have to wait for check in as the next hotel wont allow you to walkin till 2 pm checkin time.. mosquito problem is too bad due to dirty water in the lake.. But ya, if you want to experience a different kind of stay and ready to shell out 8000-15000 for normal deluxe houseboat in off season then go ahead... AC houseboat Ac will be switched on only when boat is docked and till morning.. hope that helps.. for us it was a no brainer and we went for shikara day ride.... If you are a group then go for 2-3 bedroom Super deluxe, luxury houseboat.. the cost can be shared amongst all and then the experience would cost less than a hotel+shikara..

yes for both...the shikara has enough space for 4-6 .. price might be slightly more for more people..

Well thats quite a surprise... if thats the case.. you can go to the office where you can get any shikara boat for the official price.. prices vary according to season but this is way too much... they quote around 1600-2000 for 4 hours or so but you can negotiate easily around 1300-1600 depending on condition of boat etc.. or just go to the local boat operators office , pay the official price and they ll assign you a boat with driver with stipulated time period.. hope that helps

Search for Finishing point in Allepey, contact Kerala Houseboat tourism government office and book your houseboat or shikara ride. prices are fixed.. Try booking before 11 am-12 noon... You can kunch around that area as lots of eating joints are available with roadside parking for car at certain sections or park outside the supermarket near to the finishing point..Booking with government you ll have to pay taxes, local vendors or boat owners outside the office or nearby can offer a little discount ...

hi ! it says on google 1 hour approx.. if the road condition is little bad due to landslide, like in our case it should take about 1.5 hours.. and ya.. drive slow as roads are narrow and lot of blind spots but not dangerous . plus at a point there'll be 2 road to chamba main town.. take the longer route which is paved and wide roads..takes less time due to better roads.. in other words take national highway...good luck and please dont forget to subscribe.. 🙏
