Damn what’s the build?
I am basing this build on this Wiggle Plays video. If you do what he does, but instead stand on top of the robot the full time, you are good. th-cam.com/video/wFv53W9_unw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=c78idJOuK1mbnYGR
Is the limb damage on the 2nd star important or can you get away with just the damage and cripple chance from the attachment?
I got the idea from Wiggle Plays at th-cam.com/video/wFv53W9_unw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=l2e4x4mPEtQVY2ee
Evidently, the shield cannot be crippled, so all that extra Crippling effect is translated to direct damage to the shield when you reflect the robot's hits to you.
I also simplified his approach, beginning on top of the robot rather than way off to the side.
@@nathan43082 thanks man I appreciate the info
Helpful, but I can't listen to you eating...
@@braskybill25 completely fair
Oooooo! That's a huge "NO!!!" for me too! Like metal on a chalkboard!!
A repeat of this....go dig a hole under a greydwarf spawner. Each kill by skeleton gets a skill bump. The shield breaking is just the cherry on top.
The problem there is that the skeletons take damage. This builds attempts to at least minimize incoming damage as much as possible as well as protecting the spawner from being hit by the skeletons. I don't want to have to babysit it for hours popping bubbles on the skeletons to protect them.
and then random 1* askvin sends you an hour back in progression 😁
Yeah, that's why I am playing on the easiest mode possible. I'd rather just have silly, easy fun rather than beating my head against content this time around.
Overall complex. A simple hole beneath the spawner and summon skeletons in the hole. Sit back and enjoy. Just spam bubble. Also just use a grey dwarf spawner as you get a tick every death
Yes, that would work, but then I have to keep spamming bubble. The idea here is to be able to go AFK for hours, even overnight.
Plus, it's fun to try to build it so that it works my way.
ONE MORE THING: It took me 6:48 to go from 60 to 61.
THREE THINGS: 1. I did test the Staff of Embers and it DID damage the elemental, so definitely do not use that to level your Elemental Magic Skill level. 2. I did the math to compute how many discrete hits it would take to go from skill level 0 to 100 with the Staff of Frost and it turns out to be 101,551 hits. This accounts for hits that take you to the next level not being credited to the level beyond that, forcing you to start over with 0 XP toward the next bit of progress. 3. Through only an informal counting while watching a timer while firing at the elemental, The Staff of Frost seems to fire about four times per second. This means that it will take about 25,388 seconds of continual firing to level from 0 to 100. If you double that for downtime incurred while recharging your Eitr, that turns out to be 50,776 seconds. This is 14.1 hours of leveling time to go from 0 to 100. Say 15 hours to be safe. Pretty, pretty, pretty boring.
Nice build. might use this (if I even get the rest of the guys back on the map)
Where is the spawner and how did you hide it? you can prevent spawning with floor pieces
I covered the spawner with dirt, just enough to protect it from my Skeleton Archers it without destroying it.
How the skeletons are not shooting at you when you are close
Its his skeleton. Summoning using Dead Raiser (blood magic)
@@doisan8218 This.
very well played dude, one thing that you could done better is not equipping your shield in the bossfight, since you wont be blocking anything at all, it just debuffs your movespeed. Also the silver mace (frostner) seems to be a better weapon to face Yagluth, since it does blunt, spirit and frost damage and yag is a fireish boss I rather use the eikthyr buff to dodge his attacks because it allows you to run and jump using way less stamina. The Bonemass buff is better overall but this boss specifically only does fire/lightning dmg. Only terrain suffers chop and pickaxe damage, thats why he can break terrain
Thanks. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I'd only fought him once, with friends, completely blind, so some of this was me just trying to recapture some of that fun for a second time, but with knowledge of his attacks. The funny thing is that I should have swapped to my full Padded Gear set before fighting, but forgot. This is on easy mode, so it was all fine in the end.
Just thought you should know. After watching the first 5 minutes, should have noticed, he's immune to poison. So all those ooze bombs you threw were completely wasted
Just came from my comment section. This is badass man. 🤘
Thanks!
I know after effects 6.5 is too old to use in 2022 and i am commenting on a 6-year old video but i am actually interested on using this old program. I am asking how did you add the audio? What is the correct encoder? I tried converting an mp3 to wav but it gives me those errors and couldn't import to my project. Great tutorial btw
It's been so long that I don't quite remember, although I am pretty sure I always used AIFF inside After Effects because I was on a Mac.
@@nathan43082 didn't expected you to reply lol but thanks for that
Wow! This is incredible!
Thanks! : )
You might enjoy this animation I did in After Effects for one of my songs: th-cam.com/video/uDu6u46I7II/w-d-xo.html

Was absolutely worth clicking your channel after those long messages we sent on the "Presentdayproduction" video :) I really dig that tune and the buildup, and I can hear more details in my head of where the song could and what you could still wiggle in deeply hidden the background, considering you said it's still "work in progress." But rest assured, the song stands firmly on it's own two feet! :D
Thanks. I appreciate it! I have a bunch more on Soundcloud at soundcloud.com/nathan-dickson.
I read somewhere that you did a fan re-edit of Passengers. I love the movie, but I’ve heard that rearranged is really good. Any chance I can find it somewhere?
You can find it here. Please read and abide by the readme file. www.dropbox.com/sh/y5e339ti9zvmhia/AAAoiOqY0XSEQphm_wvCbHNna?dl=0
Ohhh, I just saw this reply!! So excited, thx!!!
I’ve watched the first fifteen minutes, but it stops there. Is there more, or was that all of it. Either way, it’s an amazing rethink of the movie. Completely engaging and thought provoking. Love the original, but this is next level!!
I know there are deleted scenes and I’m curious to know if you’ve used them and in what way. .
@@dboucher2974 You have to download it to watch it. DropBox won't play beyond 15 minutes online.
While on a late night Beatles binge on Spotify, I remembered hearing this version of WMGW that you mixed 2 years ago & shared on reddit, but I couldn't quite remember what playlist I saved it to (or if I ever favorited it) on TH-cam. Just spent 2 hours trying to rack my brain on how to find it again and lucked into finding the original upload here. Really amazing mix. Fantastic job. Just adds so much weight to Regina's vocals on this cover and I love it. Thank you for mixing this!
You're welcome. I almost prefer it over the Beatles version.
Great!
How is this song NOT on the friggin' radio like, 24/7?And I agree whith the commenter on another video: this is another perfect Beatles song .-)
That’s so kind of you to say. I wish it were on the radio 24/7.
Sounds like pretty well finished to me .-D But I totally get this. I have more than a few songs from "I'll do something with this riff" to "It's almost done, what now?", and they never seem to reach the "completed" stage.
Yes, it is the bane of the perfectionist. I always hear what is wrong with the song, thinking it could still be made a little better.
If The Beatles still wrote music today. Great job man.
Awww... Thanks! Glad you like it!
