I'm a serving member of an RNLI Lifeboat crew and occasionally listen to this after a challenging service call. The courage of the officers and crew was simply incredible and without their cool professionalism many more would have perished. This scene really does encapsulate the panic of a sinking very well. God rest their souls.

The only scene that's ever made me cry in any movie I've watched. What makes it even sadder is it actually happened in real life

After 15 years I finally got the balls to rewatch this heartbreaking scene once again.

Still makes me cry to this day. The old couple and the lady with the children. The way they just accepeted what would happen to them and chose their final moments to be within each other's company

The couple,the two children and that woman accepted their fate.
