Harbor Freight sells a plug cutting set, this is what I use when I brake off screws in a piece, try using wood screws and not deck or drywall screws and maybe a tad shorter, they brake off less that way, the bowl over all turned out awesome Clayton, Thumbs up as always

Don't spoil wood which has natural cracks and bug holes with colouring it doesn't enhance the piece at all. Al😊
