But you have put lots of oil … which is not good for health and it will increase weight
Did you check how much I put? It is not even a quarter tsp… just a few drops of oil and that also Olive oil. Please check all my recipes… either they are oil free or a hardly 1tbsp even in rich desi dishes. If you want to skip; you can. Oats rotis get dried so to moisten it; it is needed.

Yes even for sehri as it will keep us full and energetic the whole day and with yogurt on the side; we won’t feel thirsty as well. Low calorie yet full.

Where did I put tomatoes in Khaosuey? If you are talking about meat curry then yes it was added in there only to make masala.
I love ,love and love the recipe and the picture and the mutton trotters. I am making this for Saturday in laws ' dinner. Might use cow's trotters though. Your mom in law seems to have inspired you a lot the way you talk about her. And you are inspiring us all with your wonderful easy to make dishes. The tomato part had got me thinking...will try though.. let's see how they turn out. The prawns are still pending I know and would definitely make them at least once before the Winter ends in shaa Allah.

Yeah! Please check out all my recipes where I hardly add 1 tbsp of ghee or oil or no oil at all. I do Biryani and Nihari also with 1 tbsp of ghee.

Lovely recipe. I have only sparingly made okra over the years as my kids don't like it much though me and my husband don't mind eating it. Will try this as this weekend I want to make the prawns which couldn't be made last week. The medicinal benefit of your magic ingredient was something new for me though I use it but it's my husband's favorite. Thank You so much for healthy and delicious food. The crunchiness is what I like in all my food lol. Be it fries, paratha or toast. Will have to buy okra and prawns together today or tomorrow it seems. Love ya
