Replaced the unit but still doesn't fix problem.

My parking brake is working ok automatically but the button/lever is broken. Is this what I have to do to fix it?

Silicone spray is not for contact cleaning 🤦🏻‍♂️ Only use contact cleaner. Silicone spray is used to lubricate rubbers, window guides etc.

Thanks for the explaining. I have a c4 2009. I don't think my fan has different speeds. When the engine starts to get hot it switches to full power fan for a minute then closes, I don't hear it working while idling etc. Also when I turn on AC and start going slower it constantly switches on the fan and turns the AC off to cool the engine I think. Is it a problem with the relay? engine doesn't get overheated

What is the part number? Thank you

Hi please advice I've got 2012 peugeot 3008 1.6 A/T vti petrol my fan allowys on while driving sense starting the engine and when I switched the engine off the fan stay for 5 on then it's off and the battery many times died please help and the car taking so much petrol, thank you

Hey, I'm interested in the very opposite! I'd like my fan to run even when ignition is off. You seem like might be able to say something about that. I've got additional leisure battery and I'm thinking about connecting it to a fuse box (with a switch). Any ideas? Many thanks! It's Citroen C5 gen I.

Brilliant. Tried this tonight. I didn’t use Silicone spray though. Nearly bought that but Halfords had an Electrical Component Cleaning Spray for £4. Took the unit off as per your perfect instructions and sprayed it generously with the cleaning spray. The spray drys itself in a few minutes. It seems to have sorted the issue. If it happens again, I may change the unit but that will be an easy fix now, due to your excellent video. Thank you very much.

Hi mate i have Parking break fault says on dash but hand break not damage? Do had ESP Autobreak , triangle and service sign lights on dash?

I have the 2007 C4 Picasso Exclusive which has the same Automatic hand break system - but in my case the engine is partially dismantled the starter is disabled for safety ( ie:- cable removed ) How do I release the Auto handbrake so I can push or move the car....joe
