When I finished studying I went into shut down mode for months before creating and finishing my piece of Katniss. I'm really proud that you have had a rest but haven't stopped. You're an amazing artist and human being ... ❤️☺️🐈⬛❤️

You always have beautiful words of wisdom ... ❤ Sleep ... Sleep is my coping mechanism. After I finished studying I went into burnout mode and basically slept for 6 months. It wasn't until the end of this period that I started creating again and the first piece I created and finished was a painting of Katniss. I'll send you a photo. I love seeing your passion, it's intoxicating. My heart gets excited and I want to create, but then my brain goes: Yes, but not today ... 😂 ... You're an amazing artist and human being ... ❤️☺️🐈⬛❤️

But school, thesis, graduation... yes it might give me some but I'm alive still! 💜And your Katniss is beautiful, it means love towards her, the love... made you awake again. It is my dream to one day have a proper dedicated space to work, as working in my room can be quite ... mentally and physically challenging. But, when I have that determination to work, which I have been doing the last few days with knitting, I don't think about that. I just do. I actually need to give my room a good clean and declutter. I so want to live a minimalistic life ... 😅😂 ... ❤😊🐈⬛❤️
Ah! Minimalistic life for an artist is a very difficult task but I always try. After the deinstallation for all my works for the show I spent all Sunday decluttering and organizing everything in my studio. Currently looks like a small solo show in there🥹 hope your knitting goes well, send me some photos later💜

@@yubistudio my Mum crocheted. I wish I took the time to learn from her. She made me a, and my sisters, our very own blankets with our names on and everything. I still have mine. It's only a few years younger than me, so it has been around for a long time. She also knitted us handmade dolls. Unfortunately, I don't have any of them any more. You always think of these things after the fact 😢
