Hello ty for the comment :D Hmm I would need more info on what weapons and characters u have (like do u have yinlin encore sanhua etc). Do u also have a 5 star weapon yet? If so which one. As for Jinhsi or Changli, Changli only works in a fusion team with another fusion main dps. So if u arn't planning to build either Encore or Chixia than Jinhsi will almost always be better!

I need future proof character that's why I thought changli I don't have 5 star weapon but their is a banner available which have choices . Please advice me I am new to gacha games 😢

​@@MercilesNova No worries feel free to ask as many questions as u would like, might take a while to reply because I have to sleep etc HAHAH. Before I start, I forgot to ask if u are a F2P player? This is important as if u are a F2P player than my advice would change. What I type below will all be under the assumption that u are F2P. (F2P = free to play) Assuming that u are new to the game, your current goal would be to build 2 really strong teams at least for the Tower of Adversity. So for example if u decide to go for Changli than the teams would look something like Team 1: Changli - Chixia/Encore - Verina/Baizhi Team 2 : H.rover - Danjin/Jianxin - Verina/Baizhi (These 2 teams are just an example) So my honest advice would to be pick who is more fun for u BUT if u only care about powercreep than yes, Changli will probably be more future proof however this isn't 100% as we still don't know how wuthering waves wants to handle powercreep. And to be honest most characters in gacha games will always get powercrept by new characters. Its just how the genre is. If u only want to care about powercreep than I would say that once u get to Union Level 45, u should pick the 5* standard sword from the 5* weapon selector and summon for changli. Currently as of patch 1.1 there are a ton of strong sword characters in the game (rover, danjin, sanhua, changli) so if u were to go the 'sword' characters route than many sword characters in your account will be able to benefit off a 5 star weapon. Of course if they are in the same team than only 1 character can equip it but in the Tower of adversity, u are able to swap weapons around different characters as long as both aren't all in the same team.

I have not got him yet! The footage is from the beta test server and I just took the video itself from reddit hahaha. He will be coming out in patch 1.2 (currently patch 1.1) Not sure what the date of release is yet will have to wait for more info :D

If u watched the 'closing thoughts' segment I said that even for the characters that I don't build and play personally I watch other people's showcase of those characters. I'm a F2P player and working on 9 characters (3 teams) is the proper way to play the game. I don't have enough resources to work on another character lol. In the showcases I saw, S.Rover has 70/240 crit ratio with at least 1.8k attack, every character in the game with those stats will be able to do the same things

Hello! For spectro rover yes she is a solid F2P character. But the only way u can use her is if u have 70%cr and at least 240%cd, but the thing is most characters will be able to clear the same content with that amount of stats. And this tier list isn't taking into account the TOA buff (which is 30% extra spectro damage right now). This tier list is also meant for the casual audience as well that's why stat requirements aren't taken into account in this video. There are probably a ton of players that aren't UL 50 or higher right now that can achieve 70-240 crit ratio with 1.8k+ attack As for lampylumen that echo takes 3 full seconds to have its full effects and damage and u arnt able to swap cancel out of it, overall the 3s u spend in echo form is overall lesser damage than what u can do with animation and swap canceling 2-3 characters combos. Tempest mephis is good because u can already get the 12% electro buff on the first hit and u can swap cancel after that But yea in this game anything can work as long as they are built optimally so having fun is the most important :)

Maybe I worded things wrongly hahaha that's mb! If I were to word things different currently Yinlin is slightly better than changli with the current characters in the game. Also yes! Changli is meant for a duo main dps setup as said in the video. But the reason why I said that she is a worse yinlin is because she needs to take up field time, that means that to honestly get the most out of her she needs to be played with encore OR chixia. Yinlin works with calcharo, havoc rover, jinhsi and encore, while changli imo only works with encore or chixia. Hence why I think she is slightly worse as compared to yinlin right now. Over time she will only get better when more fusion characters are released as said in the video. Essentially the characters that yinlin can work with right now is better than the characters changli can work with If your account has encore built than changli's tier for u will jump up by a lot. We dont actually get to properly test her damage and gameplay to its limits against harder content (only chance we got is during the story quest) so her tier might go up and be the same as Yinlin, but for now not 100% sure yet.

@@SynoGacha Well she needs to take up more field time cause shes a main dps, every main dps takes up field time. Changli also works well with Taoqi in a hyper carry comp and its really competitive with both Encore team and Chixia team, the problem is this requires Taoqi to have R5 discord otherwise the rotation is too slow so sadly for f2p players its just a dps loss but yeah, when we get an actual good resonance skill buffer she'll be S tier in F2P hyper carry teams too. That being said, there's a reddit post in changlimains aswell that showed calcs with different teams and a bunch of them were competitive with the double fusion teams so I think she's alot more flexible than she might seem team comp wise

changli in herself is a main dps

It is for the ranking I just forgot to talk about it hahaha, but truthfully in the first place it doesnt matter that much because u shouldnt be using jiyan's vigor in the early floors of the tower (if he is one of your main dps) he should be used for the boss fights instead. Do rmb that this is for F2P players and i am assuming that most players watching this video arnt close to UL 50 or above, and currently majority of players don't have more than 2 teams built, so the strat that a lot of people have been doing is running characters in early stages just to save on vigor for the later boss stages

​@@SynoGacha I mean, a big part of Jiyan's strength is his grouping. I agree that the current higher floors are Boss fights, but that could very well change. I think 2nd floor in hazard tower had a mob content followed by monkey boss. If not for the higher aero resistance of monkey, Jiyan would be the best pick there (single target & and aoe in same floor). Also my hunch is that most players dont care about the higher vigor cost floors atm, and would find Jiyan much more useful.

She's a budget jianxin after all. If her grouping was as good as jianxin she wouldn't be a 4 star. And imo shes best used as a early carry in the TOA to lessen the amount of vigor used for your main characters. Also works well with a character like alto if u have him built. There is a yangyang main who got 15 crests in TOA (aero bonus was on at that time) but thats what shes mainly used for imo, either a grouper if u need one or a main carry for TOA. Another thing for her altho isnt very useful now is her outro skill, helps with regen and so lower stat requirements for the next character in terms of ER

What is Jinhsi's sig weapon though?

@@poster_ity The weapon effect is 12% bonus elemental dmg and 48% skill dmg bonus which is basically 70% of the damage that jinhsi does. The weapon's main stat is also crit rate which is a extremely sought after stat for characters in general. If u want an idea of the dmg boost, her sig weapon is 18% better than the 5 star standard broadblade and 33% better than the best 4 star option

@@poster_ity Well her weapon isn't a must have so don't feel pressured to pull for it! As for H.Rover or Calcharo I would say it depends, if u have yinlin and u are going to pull for jinhsi's weapon than calcharo, if not havoc rover. Best advice I would say is play whoever looks/feels more fun

Ty for the comment :) In my honest opinion this is indeed a pretty tough decision to make, truthfully it depends on the rest of your account, do u already have a lot of sword or broadblade characters built? Overall I think that it's best to go for changli's weapon since u already have the standard 5 star broadblade. (Unless u really like jinhsi) But I think going for the weapon that can be used by majority of your built characters is imo more efficient, even if changli's weapon is just a stat stick Do remember that jinhsi's banner will 100% come back in the future, same as changli's so there isn't a reason to stress too much!! Do feel free to ask if u have any more questions :D

@@SynoGacha i have a team with calcharo yin lin and baizhi, and the other team is jinshi, yuanwu and verina. I have both standard 5 star broadblade and sword and have a c6 sanhua yet to build. I don't think the sword is worth it given the value of the standard 5 star but jinshi is so op and I'm thinking if her weapon is a worth power buff or do i just get new characters.

@@Koddan2912 Having both weapons does change things. I think now it's solely dependent on if u want to invest heavily into jinhsi or not. I think the best thing to do now is to wait for more news of 1.2 characters and than decide if u want to summon for their weapon. I think some people are currently saying that camellya is coming out in 1.2 and that she's a havoc sword character. Still not 100% sure yet tho. If u plan on skipping out on 1.2 than yes jinhsi's weapon is worth it, and u can just give changli the standard 5star sword

Just get who you like, but if you're just going for gameplay then definitely Jianxin. Especially with how few supports we have right now, she's a much better pick than Calcharo as she can work in more teams and generally has more value. Calcharo is pretty easily replaceable

Thank you for the comment! For your current account if u want power now than going for calcharo if u have a good 5 star broadblade is better. If u want utility, flexibility and a better tower of adversity team + longevity, go for jianxin. Overall Calcharo will require more materials to be invested in and u already have quite a bit of main dps characters built, so going for calcharo overall will be more investment but if u do go for him your account will be more powerful now until a new main electro dps character is out. I forgot to mention this in the video but the ideal endgame account is to have 1 main dps character built for each element. So in my honest opinion, jianxin will be a bigger priority but going for calcharo won't be the worst decision since u do have yinlin (not sure if u have a 5 star broadblade though as that's needed for calcharo) Feel free to ask more questions if u have any :D

@@SynoGacha fair fair. Tbh, I’m pretty lucky. In Genshin I did fine with 4-stars and ppl are normally shocked. In Honkai Star Rail I got the 5-star I wanted at the beginning so I never needed to pull much. This time around, the “5-star” I got was, Support goth Maid GF who throws spooky ghosts. So ultimately, I didn’t actually need her for my party, just got lucky. My 4-stars in that seem to be versatile enough and I’ve nearly got each one. I will probably save pulls till a limited character I like the look of comes out. Maid Shark girl is cool, but her weapon and aesthetic is just not my thing. I’m pretty confident in my ability to change most characters into whatever I want them to be. I’m hoping we get more characters with Counter skills.

​@@edwardjrnalog1662 It depends on what u want to prioritize. If u are not planning to build a duo fusion carry team like encore/changli or chixia/changli, than jinhsi will be better. The common opinion right now is that jinhsi overall does more damage than changli but changli is more flexible. Another deciding factor would be if u have already used the UL 45 weapon selector, if u picked sword go changli, if u picked broadblade go jinhsi. Feel free to ask ahead if u have anymore questions! 😄
