The Roman Empire never collapsed it just became *"France"* absolutely. I want to say the Imperial Capital became Aachen as part of the #tetrachy_of_rome as imagine for a moment even the Rome of today Governing all of modern day France! I was born and raised in Charente, and I lived between Mansle and Saint Amant until my college years. Last summer, I returned to visit my family and brought my wife to all the places you mentioned. I worked as a tour guide in the Bordeaux region for ten years but, unfortunately, never had the chance to do so in Charente. I'm glad you made this video showcasing this lesser-known region of France, which has so much more to offer. Great job!
