Bracket Racing with my 10 second, Pro Street, 1973 Chevy Camaro Z28. This is running an 11:1, 434 small block Chevy with AFR 245s, 2892 Super Victor 2, and QFT Q-950, on Sunoco Ultra 94 pump gas. Pretty smooth burr finish, is the carbide really dull ? I did my burr finish with a brand new carbide at a slightly slower speed & my finish turned out with a disclaimer attached "do not touch". It is so sharp and raised it made me bleed when I went to feel it. I did it on a tunnel ram for my stroker big block Mopar.
No bleeding here. I use high helix burs for bulk material removal that leaves a "sharper" finish, followed by finer cut aluma burs for a smoother final finish

I use a selection of carbide aluma bits, from Killer Carbide Burs.

I have one of Chopper's fully ported manifolds, It was 5 hundreds of a second faster over a stock Victor Jr. manifold on my mild Chevy 355 drag car with no other changes to the carb or timing
Thank you Karl. I had a hard time letting go of that manifold. That one was in my possession for over 25 years, running it on my own 355, before I finally spent some time porting it for a more serious combination.
Is the 4 hole spacer to improve throttle response? Nice work.
Fronczak Racing has had excellent results with this manifold and spacer combination on his builds. I’m just adding a little icing to the cake.
Plans for this car? Havent seem a lot of videos of it this past year. Love the Knight Rider though. How much horse it pushing now?
It’s gone 4.90@@142 at 2600# naturally aspirated on a good prepped track. At some point, it may be competing in NMCA/X275 class.

Not in stock. These 2907s aren’t currently available. The Weiand Track Warrior is a very similar design. You’re welcome to have one drop shipped to me for port work.

Most SBC manifolds start at $750. Pricing can vary depending on manifold and amount of work required for a specific combination.

As observed, I sincerely appreciate your OCD with everything you do - lol Do you have an idea what the weight difference is between this engine and a similarly scaled up version in the form of a big block would be? Since this engine produces power/torque overlapping into big block performance, at what point (power or track performance) is the extra weight/size/expense of a pump gas big block a preferred choice?
Thank you, kind sir. Taking the same approach of making power on pump gas, a similarly scaled up big block would have the cubic inch advantage to make up for increased weight. The most important question is “how much money to spend?”

Depends on your goal. The BMP 4500 and Super Victor 2970 will handle over 700 horsepower n/a when properly ported. The P2E IronHide and Uratchko Hulk are the new kids on the block, and can support serious power, with only a port match.

Now I'm running a 434 and it's not running but 9.50 and the car is 100 lbs lighter
In good weather, this combo will run 9.80s… on pump gas.
If this is a 434 its not to Stout. My 14.1 383 went 10.00s at 3300 lbs camaro stock suspension
11:1 compression, Sunoco 94 pump gas, with power steering. It’ll run 9.80s in good weather.

All the 245cc AFR heads I’ve seen have a Stahl pattern on the exhaust flange and require an adapter to go back to standard bolt pattern headers
No sir. Standard bolt pattern with .250 raised exhaust ports.

Looks like a bypass setup? What is the flow rate? What pressure at the carbs?
Yes. Bypass after the pump. -12AN in, -10AN out, -8AN bypass. 500 GPH @ 28 psi. Carb is regulated at 6.5 psi. Pump is capable of supporting 2000 HP running gasoline. Overkill for this combo.

That was a 10.118@131.13, shifting early on the 2-3 to remain slower than 10.00 for the class. Ran a 10.120@131.13 on the previous run.
