Great vid. Hope you're both enjoying the hols. Broad brimmed hats! Looking forward. =D
The best time to see Echidnas in the Adelaide Hills is in the *early morning and late afternoon* - when they are most active. They are particularly prevalent during the breeding season (September to February) and during heatwaves where they will spend more time on the ground moving between trees or searching for water. Male Echidnas may follow scent trails of females, and you might see multiple suitors following a single female. Hope that helps. 🙂
Thanks for the info. Will keep looking 🤞
You seem to be going much too slow on corrugated roads, you will feel every bump. Go much faster to ride over the tops to smooth out the ride. Enjoy Australia.
if you ever see an emu with chicks, thats the dad thats looking after them, do not go near the chicks as dad has a propensity to fu ck you up.
Awesome 😊❤
Busy in Adelaide? Hardly. I have live here for 61 of my 64 years and the only Echidna I have seen was a dead one on the Brand Highway north of Perth.
Know Adelaide at all? Doubt it.
Eyre Peninsula REPRESENT!!!!
It's not a difficult trip! Travelling from WA to SA is to go with the prevailing winds. Just do not travel at night. Kangaroos come onto the road to sleep on the warm asphalt. The roos can really ruin your trip if you hit one.
Great video guys 🤩🚐
Nullabor. Piece of Piss. Space shuttle is a bit of a stretch. I was the old Skylab There is plenty to see on the Nullabor but sometimes you have to go up some of those tracks.
When I was 20 we drove across in our old ford. We could only drive at night because that radiator was shagged. I remember after driving in a straight line for so long I was excited when the road did a S turn on the WA side. Might be the Eucla BP Roadhouse. You know you are out the middle of nowhere, when you turn on the radio and all you get is nothing but static. One thing that is worth remebering. If you are driving over. Be aware the the price of fuel is a lot more exspensive. We did not allow for that and ran out of fuel and money in Coolgardi. Great video. bought back good memories. Thank You.
I think all those horror stories are from crossings many years ago when cars were not as reliable as they are today
And it's now fully sealed
Not a hard journey at all. Hundreds of people ride bicycles across each year. Biggest gap between roadhouses is less than 200km. 🍕🚴🍍
I hope you hooked right at Penong to see Point Sinclair Pink Lake, it's only a few min drive to get there!
Ive driven the Nullarbor a few times, and it is a magical place, particularly in the breeding season for southern right whales, when that view of the cliffs also includes 30 or more whales frolicing.
I bet that is an incredible sight to see! The Nullarbor is amazing, we had such a great road trip.
I watched your TH-cam video. Your videos are awesome. But your channel and videos expect more views and subscribers. I analyzed Your TH-cam channel, and I found that TH-cam video SEO is not done. This is why your video is not going viral and views are not increasing. If you have any question feel free to ask! Thank You.
I'm glad you enjoyed your time in Albany and Denmark. I live at Frenchman Bay and get to enjoy it everyday, so it is nice to see it from your perspective. Safe travels and enjoy!
What an awesome place to live! We loved it, such a beautiful area 🤩
