Marcia isn't any better than Kerry- its hilarious she thinks she is
Kendall's retort was better
roman is so kind here
0:10 where is this video from
I, thankfully, have been blessed not to experience a sudden death of a loved one thus far in life. But this seems like we are actually a fly on the wall watching others handle it in real life. The writing, direction, single shots, and of course acting are just…impeccable
"Why don't we just burn them for the insurance?" "That would be the dream." Priceless works of art. I love this scene and I love being reminded how despicable these people are.
You know Kendall's pants felt tighter when the will had his name on it. Regardless if it was crossed out or underlined.😂
let the Maniac release the beast and He got better deal
Kendall was more competent than the other siblings. In comparison.
0:57 Tom must be on the list🤣
3:35 Tom must be on the list😭🤣
Kendall had some great lines here
Matron owned these two. 2 on 1 and he calls tells them they are playing ‘scooby doos’ How beautiful! Humiliating for them Finally, the stream sound of Mattson’s piss is so strong Total Alpha!
I don’t know why but the shot at 3:06 when Kendall and Connor are hugging after Roman says ‘am I getting outvoted here’ is so funny to me.
"his two big boys playing scooby doos...." This guy is such an alpha!
On the last show , i so wanted to win but when i watched back he had been for to much idiot/arsehole when not getting his on way
Rewatching this scene i see roman as more selfish than empathetic. The same way they tried to manipulate the women from the cruises, it only benefits roman to keep tabs on Kerry, esp a moment like this could inspire a lawsuit down the line. With this idea in mind imagine how it would be perceived to see this woman you believe to have had an intimate relationship with your father, she is in distress uninvited at his wake, and she begins to cry to you with the hope that you will listen, insisting that your father promised and made preparations to marry her. This could be a crisis and marcia has done some damage that youre not sure the full extent of.
this show is trash lol
The cart is killing me 😂
Imagine having to wait a week after hearing that epic credits score.
Woah!, I think I'm passed out because Jeremy Strong/Mittens is so very Hotty when he wears polo shirt while I was watching the series, hehe! I'm extremely blushing and turning red my face to Jeremy/Mittens 🤗👍🏻❤️☺️
ya they were scooby dooing him looool
I come back to this scene from time to time just to feel something
Sarah Snook is incredible. When he says she's like her dad at the end, that little noise that makes and the look in her eye... She's trying to sound cool but also that's all she's ever wanted to hear. I think she wanted to be like Logan more than even Kendall
Nothing like billionaires duking it out.
"The negative case would be..." 😂
The looknof bewilderment Marcia gives Greg CRACKS ME UP. She is like, "WTF would we need to 'catch up,' fool? We have exactly NOTHING to duscuss."
Logan broke Marcia's heart and she wants to exit all aspects of his life asap. Hence the speed of the deal.
This scene is absolutely devastating. The masterful direction, coupled with Brian Cox's phenomenal performance, makes Logan Roy's final moments utterly heart-wrenching. The subtlety of his collapse, the faint whisper of 'Matthew', and the subsequent silence is chilling. The tension builds slowly, mirroring the family's shock and disbelief. The close-ups on the characters' faces capture their complex emotions - Shiv's horror, Kendall's panic, Roman's numbness, and Connor's bewilderment. The sound design is equally impressive, with the abrupt shift from lively conversation to eerie stillness amplifying the emotional impact. It's a stark reminder that even the most powerful figures can crumble in an instant.
Impeccable answer from Tom. Madsen was throwing a curveball trying to get Tom off his feet but the answer is both funny, insightful into American psychology and low key confrontational enough to garner some respect.
fiers?
It is amazing how this Series gets one thing that people usually can't understand. True manipulation through power happens not in the orders or the screams of the powerful people, but in the subtles movements. Of course Logan has to scream and show power sometimes to intimidate those around him...but only as an extreme measure to show everybody what he's capable of. But in general, in daily interactions, he doesn't need even to speak everything that he's thinking, just some expressions, some questions...and his will will be done. I've been around this kind of interaction enough to understand it. And that's why even when these powerful people fall, you can't make them accountable for all that, just because they didn't give "the orders" or said nothing to "do this or that", but if you were with them at the time, you would've known exactly what they wanted you to do.
this media is the equivalent of building a runway when you see planes circling, like they do in East Florida.
Why was Greg on the paper?
Shiv's misplaced sense of triumph is hilarious
I was able to pick out incestuous and hapsburg..😅
Even funnier in hindsight when you consider Frank and Carl are on Tom's chopping block when he takes over. He didn't forget this convo.
I love when Logan says “smart” about Tom’s replying lol game recognize game in terms of corporate speak
Eating is like the ultimate display of weakness in this world 😂
Mattson’s a cocky prick.
Notice roman's real mistake: Logan was both direct and indirect whenever it was convenient to the situation. I think Roman was tapping into a side of him that was both direct but fake/unserious. Roman knew what he wanted, but he didn't respect someone that was was more determined than him. Notice the part that he says "you just f*cked yourself", If Roman was serious, he would've told him he didn't wanna make the deal, that he hated him, but not that he was gonna deny everything to the board (Or that he himself is "gone/dead"). For all the show of strength Roman has the potential to show, it is self defeated when it is just an outburst of insecurity that can be seen as such. Roman only knew abuse, so naturally he has a harder time diferenciating cruelty from authority, they are almost both the same thing to him, and so if cruelty/abuse is done to him, that to him shows they have more authority. The fact he would act imposing about something he wouldn't stand up for later with the board gives enough evidence for Mattson to know if he puts the big number and convinces the board Roman is not gonna have the stones to own up to his word and put his thumb down on the board. It shows the half-assed aspect of his threat, He was insulted but also amused by Roman puffing his chest. Maybe if it were Ken, or all 3 of them, it would have been different, but if it was just Roman he shouldn't have said the part about drawing it out while denying his intentions. It just gave Mattson the answer to get what he wanted.
no one even thought to have connor present
Is it Just me or did y'all notice that Shiv was a little turned on by the Ear flick Tom did to her???😂😭🤣and why did she do my boi dirty like that??😭😭Tom has broad shoulders and he's just as tall as Matsson wtf?? Shiv was just such a b*ch sometimes.
Imagine having enough money to buy a company for over the odds just to spite its current owners!!
I like how Kendall call them out for speaking in Swedish. It is such bs. Europeans always pull that bs
It’s a PARTS SHOP
Tom calling his own wife a screwup and/or a dipshit....😂😂😂 Doesn't even blink. Effortlessly vicious.
Although not shown greatly in this clip, Jeremy Strong was not told by the director where to find Sarah Snook and he was genuinely looking for her at the start of this scene.
i love connor so much. underrated in the fan base as much as he is in his own family.
I met Hiam Abbas 2 months ago and got to tell her how well they handled her character in this episode
And what did she say?
