Unstoppable Lego 6x6 truck
This video introduces you to a prototype/testbed for a MOC I'm working on. the end goal is a 1:10 scale fully RC off-road wrecker/rotator tow truck.
It will eventually look much different than shown but this was a good test of some suspension prototypes I wanted to test.
I also got to test out the new pneumatic parts sent to me by @GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop They have been modified to reduce friction in the cylinders, maximize air flow, etc. That's also where I got the air tanks & manometer.
To power this behemoth I incorporated 3 buwizz hubs & 4 of their buggy style motors. These parts were sent for review & testing by @BuWizzBrick.
In order to harness the immense torque generated I had MTP (Metal Technic Parts) send me some of their Lego compatible products. They make gears, axles, beams, u-joints even differential from metal. Although significantly more expensive they are extremely durable.
You can learn more about these companies and their products using the link below.
thanks for watching and reading!

How much does it cost????
Where is the full video ?
😅😅 I forgot to upload it, I've got it finished so maybe this week ;)
@@Bric_workshop No pressure, I was just searching for more info about this model as it packs many electrical functions in a small size. Did you know the scale by chance ?
@@Nico71Fr I believe it is around 1:20 scale , the bog doesn't really say
@@Bric_workshop Ok, so the box doesn't help. It is hard to know with the size of the original tire, but surely bigger than regular truck, so as you mentionned, 1/20 should be close (for 1250mm tire in real, which give 50" which seems correct).
@@Nico71Fr the are the same size as found on most 1:17 scale vehicles like the arocs
Is this an actual Lego set 😳😳
where did you find your wheels?
Wieviel hast du für die ganzen metall Komponenten von OMTP ausgegeben?
Nothing. I got the parts for free since they sponsored the project.
Wird das ein ural moc oder ein rio moc?
Neither. It will be modeled after an AM General
impressive!
Thanks 🙏😁
Did you thinking about selling manual for this MOC? If so, I'd love to buy it.
Don't have any plans to do so at the moment
Impressive. But how did you make the clutch fork friction resistant? The normal clutch fork would melt within seconds.
So.. how much? Around 3k?😂
Something like that 😂
Pls instruction😢 I respect you
Neat that it appears to be so robust
Some things need to be strengthened but it's pretty good so far
first
🤟🤟
Are the metall pieces much heavier than regular Legos?
Yes, they are made from metal vs the usual plastic so they weigh more
Are these pieces much heavier than regular Legos?
Yes since they are made from metal and not plastic they are a bit heavier.
Nice model. Would it benefit from independent suspension rather than live axels? Or does the low weight Lego affect it?
Only the front axle is a live axle the rear is a tandem pendular/bogie design. This chassis will be used for a heavy tow truck and in such vehicles independent would be worse. Although independent offers amazing shock absorbing capabilities it is not great at accommodating heavy loads.
@@Bric_workshop Thank you for the explanation.
Thank for the video of this titan in action. Your truck is insane i love it !
Bro that’s is mad cool good job on the design looks sturdy as hell
Thanks man it was definitely a fun and challenging build:)
На столько крепко, что в первом кадре отваливается колесо, а при перевороте летят лишние детали 😊
Damn thats actually impressive af
Thanks 🙏😁
Beast 🗿
woaw
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment mate! 😁😁
saw at 3:33 where front axle broke
Good eye 👀
Once this is complete I would love to see a kit made available with instructions and all the parts. I don’t care if it costs four figures, I need it.
With the metal parts and electronics it will definitely be into 4 figures
@Bric_workshop I'm ok with that
@@Bric_workshop that’s fine
What hoses do you use for the pneumatics? (The clear ones)
The clear hoses are from green gecko :)
Potresti portare un video dove lo costruisci da zero? Sarebbe divertente riprodurlo 💪🏻
This is still just a prototype so no instructions or tutorial are available quite yet
Will you do it?
@@simonearmetta2615 I won't do a PDF document but will probably do a photo sequence
@@Bric_workshop That would be great thank you!
Impressive level of engineering 🙃
Thank you mate 😊
Bro got inf. money 💀
Nope lol, got most of the expensive bits for free 😅
@@Bric_workshop lucky man.
You should have considered editing out the part where the steering shaft blew off 😬 😂 cool truck tho
Thought about it but I decided it would be good to show the failures as well ❤️🩹
good work! :D yeah lego is more suited for slow moving vehicles and crawlers, shifting to brushless rc now :D
You can definitely make fast builds. Though reducing size helps.
@@Bric_workshop at some point, lego cant handle it, melting parts and not enough motors and or power
I see u made it durable and well engineered, great job!
Thank you for the kind words mate!
No , you deserve it! ;)
I love how if you make it speed 0.25 and pause at the right time you can read about the direction and suspension failing XD really impressive MOC tho
Yeah 😛😛😛That will be fixed in the final model
@@Bric_workshop i can hardly wait to see it then!
Fire 🔥 I like the suspension 😊
Thank you! It was definitely the part that took the most time. Though there are still many improvements to be made
@@Bric_workshop nice 👍 This should be a Lego set 😊 I would buy it. Sadly it's not 😢
@@bigeatiedrawings5870 Yeah I'd would be nice if Lego made some capable offroaders eh
@@Bric_workshop I agree but you know Lego, if they make an off road set it wouldn't be as good. And also the lack of power in the motors. They should bring the Buggy motors back
@@bigeatiedrawings5870 about it being a lego set, i might want to disagree... while i would find it cool if lego made a RC set with pneumatics,if the set had this size, it would just be another set over 450€ ( probably priced at 600€ i think ) and i wouldnt buy it. If lego were to release a MOC offroader, i would prefer the small ZIL with 6 wheels of Sariel : it s way smaller, but it would also be way more affordable... for now, i m waiting to see the motor we will get with the Porsche set... supposedly the fastest set ever, but we dont know yet about the capacity of the motor...
Got stopped by the garden gnome 😂
Don't worry the truck got revenge
Reminds me of a worse version I did a while back, nice video bro ❤

Hello there traveler!

Combining metal and Lego is the best, the custom of Lego with the durability of metal
Exactly 💯
Hello 👋 I got some questions But I don't want to put them on here because everyone can see them. So if I may ask can I messeg you on discord (if you have it) or something else?
Instagram is best, @bric_workshop
@@Bric_workshop ok I'll message you later
Where did you get the tires? Because i want to buy them
Amazon, search up 120 mm super swamper RC tires
@@Bric_workshop thanks for the information 😄
@@Bric_workshop how did you fit the tires to be used on Lego?
@@bigeatiedrawings5870 these ones fit on lego medium racing rims
