Ximming is when console players play with a mouse and keyboard instead of controller so they would get the aim assist of the console and the aim capabilities of mouse and keyboard.

Yes, you can carry as a tank but it will be nearly impossible if your DPS aren't getting any picks.

Yup they're treated very poorly & are counter picked constantly & sometimes they arent even the ones causing the most impact.

@most834 4-stacking isn't banned for narrow players, it's only banned for wide groups. I don't see the point of banning it for a specific grouping if it will still be allowed if you are within the narrow grouping requirements.

@@KPR56 duos and solos should be narrow groups and 5s should only go against other wide groups

@most834 I dont remember if this was a thing or not in OW1 but usually stacks would go against other stacks, in this one it's pretty inconsistent. I dont think they should change them to wide groups but just more likely to go up against other stacks.

@Silver if you look at my video the first clip does have the alleged ping issue but then the 2nd clip doesnt, I did not have a high ping in both situations.

Yup itll sometimes be by a few milliseconds but just being able to notice it makes it annoying.

@hunzhunz-lo3xn it shouldnt ban you since the alleged system that is in place shouldnt detect you. I've also been accused of using a MnK, do you have clips of your gameplay that I can see?

@Pheadrixx This is only banned for wide groups, it is still allowed within narrow groups, I still 4 stack but have to use a different account.

They just hate tank, I dont know if they fixed the sojourn bug but she melts through tank with her OP railgun.

Yea it's very annoying running into smurfs & cheaters on console, usually it wont be wall hacks or aimbot but Ximmers that have scripts to have soft snapping or recoil control.

A device that let's players use mouse and keyboard on consoles. Which gives them an unfair advantage. It ruins a lot of games for a lot of people. It's also called a cronus :)

I think it might be a bit harder for them to do but it's definitely possible but they may not want to pay their employees enough for them to care for PC cheaters.

Microsoft can already detect the xim devices, so I'm sure other companies will be able to build the same anti cheats or whatever software they use to detect them. There are a lot of Ximmers but they are not the majority of the console population so banning them wont be an issue.

That could work but banning the ximmer mid match or not allowing them to do any damage might be a better alternative.

Yea I'm hoping that this ban carries over to the actual companies banning this hardware since xbox can actually detect them already.

@fabian4134 they already said they will implement it next season & will ban anyone who was ximming the day after they posted blog. It'll probably bring them more players if they do that so it wouldnt be smart of them to not keep their word.

Most ximmers got banned already high rank lobbies feel much better right now

They said if they continue after the first ban then they will start doing permanent bans, also it wouldnt be smart of them to not perma ban since itll bring them more players.

The wide group restrictions are really dumb & I hope they rework it or just get rid of it.

Yup they shouldve just had that restriction with GMs & everyone else could queue normally.

Diamond 1 also seems to have issues from my experience, I wont find a match under 6 minutes if I'm in a wide group while being diamond 1.

@@KPR56 maybe it’s in high diamond because I play like around plat 2 and diamond 5 and queue times seem fine for me and my friends. My friends do play support so maybe that helps.

Yup wide match is way worse then the system they already had in place, if they kept the old system & just made it that anything farther than the previous limits it would make it a wide match. The group limit is also very dumb because it just splits up a bunch of friends groups. The only good thing was that GMs can queue up with one more person. The queue times are really insane, I played it last night & 1 match took 17 MINUTES to find.

Bro just play with mouse and key then, no need to go the xim route you'll just be one of these losers on the video, get a pc and start playing m&k learning a xim just to play m&k is idiodic because its not even meant for consoles and the experince is way different, ximmers are emulating a controller in order for you to be able to use it on console... the experience is very different, where as the true mouse and key are legitimately used as controllers on pc

@L0C0OO7 Mouse & keyboards are truly up to preference & you can find a lot of options on amazon. You dont need a xim to use a mouse & keyboard on console, all you have to do is plug in your m&k & you'll be put in pc lobbies.

Cant you just disable crossplay then? The problem isnt aim assist, in most games it truly does not make a difference to a skilled PC player. The problem are people that Xim & abuse the aim assist with a M&K

You can tell when it's a Ximmer due to how smooth, fast, & accurate they can be, I ran into a few that were soft snapping making it's almost like aimbot.

They do have that in place but the Xim adapter let's them mask their M&K as a controller. This let's them play in console lobbies and gives them aim assist.

Bro they must remove aim assist from any pvp game. also OW has big ass hitboxes for smallest bullets what the fuck are you talking about if you cant play then why would you cry about people that can actually aim. pvp games are supposed to play against human it is indeed a bit toxic and hard but that is the point we are duelling it is natura of the MEN

@Asriel_AZE Not a single time did I complain about people having good aim. I'm complaining of Ximming cheaters, M&K is way better for FPS games & they are masked as a controller giving them aim assist if they use a xim. This is a huge problem on console & they have addressed it but not done anything about it. It's almost like soft aimbot & can enable soft snapping through Xim.

@rip4real437 Yup they're not good enough to go against PC lobbies, if you get in their face they literally lose the ability to aim. You can win against Ximmers but it is so annoying when it's a stack of them.

So you shouldnt be rewarded for playing good? The system has a lot of issues and still is inconsistent. The game is more discouraging the way it is and people would be more encourage to work together if their stats mattered since they could potentially gain more sr or lose less sr depending on how they played.

It was diamond 3 for tank last season & for some dumb reason I started my first placement in Silver 2

i was masters 3 and got put into gold 3 for the first game and won 2 games and the game said plat 4 and after all 10 games i got placed diamond 5 and than after placment got 70% per win and only lost 20% so now after about anotzher 10 games i am now diamond 1
