AAAAAA TY THIS WAS SO HELPFUL
Can I use mod podge to prime
THANK YOU first time making a prop and 8 couldn't find anything about what glues to use
I am folowing your steps but my horn lost its shape.... it is not curly anymore.... where did I get it wrong?
Easyyyyy?????? 😂
Those are absolutely gorgeous!!
Omg you are brilliant. I love these. You are so creative. Great job! I needed an easy and realistic way to make these
So helpful! Making tiny horns for my dog. Hoping to do well enough!
What type of tape do you use?
Is it possible to use pvc glue like they use for plumbing tubing?
Is it possible to use epoxy glue to coat the foam?
Thank you; I do work related crafts, you are loved by your fans; I’m one. I hope you are well.. and keep the sharing going.
Brilliant! Great tutorial. Yours are the best horns I've seen.
🤗 *promosm*
I'm struggling where to cut mine, it has lots of slight angled and points, I don't know what to do : c
😍😍😍
Oh man this is so cool. I’m still learning foam work. This is incredible
Wow ❤
I really hope I can make this amazing horn for my student too.😅 She will wear these as capricorn.
Fantastic!! What kind of material are you using?
This is amazing!
so clean! :o
Thanks a lot! That's super exciting to do :>
What kind of primer is that?
Best glue for it is a special glue for XPS foam (not Styropor) or epoxy glue Thank me later 🫶
The Styrofoam glue in the video is an XPS/EPS glue. Honestly, I don't know why I didn't mention it, but thanks for pointing it out! and thanks also for the tip about the epoxy glue!
This is just what i needed 🖤🖤🖤 excited to try
Super helpful, thank you!
I'm rather confused about how you paint foam so that the paint won't crack. Is that what the wood glue is for?
Thank you so much! I love comparison videos instead of the "just buy this super expensive glue/primer cause it works"! You saved me money, thanks :)
my attempts keep making the horns come out flat, not round. any tips?
Thank you so much!!!! My daughter is crying because she can’t make her horns after hours of trying different ideas. I found your video and I am about to start it at 9 pm eastern time . I hope I can manage and surprise her in the morning. I’ll at least have a start base to work with and learn as I go. You may have saved my daughter first cosplay tomorrow! You’re the best. Now off to work I go with lots of coffee and patience
how'd it turn out?
So sorry to see that you stopped making videos. This was super informative, well put together, answered all my questions. Thumbs up!
Good content but music at end is way too loud
how would one attach these directly to skin though? i understand its easier to hide in hair with a headband or hair clips but how would I go about affixing horns to my face and get them to stick?
In welchen Baumarkt kaufst du deinen Schaumstoff? Ich finde nirgendwo welchen, der dick genug ist.
you explained it so well i will definately try this one
do you glue them to a tiara or something? How did it stay on your head?
this looks really awesome ! thank you so much ! I have a question though, once I glued all 4 pieces, the base of the horn is square not round like yours. I don't know what I'm doing wrong 😭
Cool
Awesome tutorial! I'm not the crafty type at all and really needed an easy tutorial to follow for my tiefling's horns. But if I wanted them to be smooth (no scales/ridges, more like the finish of a cow's horn) how could I hide the seams? My go to thought is to use the same fabric I plan to use on my tail just to have it color match, but would rather have a smooth, "polished" finish. Maybe air dry clay/foam clay to seal the seams? Any tips?
My ganyu cosplay is thanking you :)
I have been trying to make Mammon's horns from Obey me but I am having a hard time with it
Wow
Hello, love the video, hopefully in a few months I’ll be making my first prop and was wondering if you know what the best way to glue sheets of eva foam to xps so that I can cover it instead of worbla?
I used the styrofoam glue for this and it worked very well :)
Thank you so much for your video! With your help I finally finished a costume that has foam armor pieces :D
When I sanded my horns the texture was very rough, like styrofoam… I think maybe the type of foam I have is different 😭
By any chance you sell them?
so helpful! I’m not doing cosplay but doing a craft project on foam but this is the best instruction / test video I’ve seen on which materials work together the best
Absolutely lovely! what kind of dremel bit dit you use for the dented/scorched effect on the chestplate?
In German it says: 'dremel korund Schleifspitze' Unfortunately, I don't know the english term for it :/
Danke! I also speak German so I think I can find it in the store.
