Good for you! I'll be 50 in March of 2025 and have begun my own goal oriented journey. I am also a security professional and coming back from over a year long debilitating illness. I won the fight, yet the battle has just begun! Good luck to you! Love the channel.

Any who shits on revolvers needs to do some listening to Darryl Bolke, Chuck Haggard, Tactical Professor and their associates. All firearms have their place it’s just determining the intended goal and carrying what fits that best.

Awesome video!!! I’ll give you a great tip that will make you want to demonstrate a thorough gun clear that really helped me. I watch a video and this TH-camr said the reason he slowly and thoroughly show clearing the weapon is kids watch these videos. I was almost shot as a kid because I didn’t clear the weapon properly. I’m not hating on your technique just giving you and others that have kids a loving reason to show kids on your video weapon clear. Thanks guy keep up the good work.

I started at AU, what’s funny is, I made good progress there, and had good work colleagues/work relations, I started at an Amazon site, few months training, how to do patrols, etc Then I got transferred to multiple sites, malls, call centers, data centers, parking lots, banks, etc… I still have my ex account managers’ phone numbers from 4 years ago and we’re still talking I guess he’s still a chill guy lol I didn’t have enough time to essentially “hate” my time at AU, however, it varies by site and by manager/supe.

Thank you for reminding us that there’s more to firearms than the latest 9MM. The 38 Special cartridge in a modern hollow-point design has proven to be a perfectly adequate defensive round for most folks. Unlike the imaginary soldier or policeman, Johnnie Citizen isn’t expected to engage in extended shoot-outs or penetrate car windshields and barriers. No, he’s expected to defend and get the heck away from the situation. You need to anticipate your own likely situations and decide for your needs. If you’re most likely to need your gun while within arms’ reach of your attacker - in a confined space like a car, for example - you might not want to have to dodge flying hot brass. Or provide your opponent with a nice long barrel to grab.

Exactly what I have said in the past.... Chaplains to the Security personnel and Chaplains to the people we protect. Most Chaplains are trained in Clinical Pastoral Education -- CPE. That's just one venue that a Chaplain Protector Medic could serve in....there are many more. Please know that there are your Spiritual Brother and Sister that pray for you.... we're here in "Little 'ol Rhody." Love to you and your family during this blessed time of year.... Happy Christmas... Miss Monique 🙂🙏🌷💗

You’re definitely right about that. It’s the other way around for me in person. People will literally call me a “wannabe cop” and I just nonchalantly show them my extensive educational background and I just let them know that they have no idea about how deep the private security realm goes which is in some cases more extensive than LE. It’s crazy how people try and talk down on a persons career choice and don’t even know how it works. The best advice I can give, is just ignore man because I guarantee you, majority of the people that say oh your just “some security guard” wouldn’t last a day in our shoes.

I just wanted to say that I lean left, but I support the 2nd amendment. More and more of us are accepting that the 2nd amendment is extremely important. I'm thinking that what many people call the "radical left" are becoming fewer and fewer. Appreciate your take, but as of now (a year after this) many leftists are becoming constitutionalists - a good thing.

Recognizing risk indictors is essential to our safety & well-being. It's a nudge to look closer to see if the concern is justified. The only violation is treating a suspicion as fact. It's equally important not to entirely exclude anyone. The little old woman who looks like a retired minister's wife could be stuffing her bag. Ultimately, it's behavior, not looks, that determines the level of threat.

It’s a necessity for sure. Being a develop a subject profile based on circumstances is highly valuable. For example, I’m currently assigned to one of the Walmarts that my company provides security for. Since I work closely with the asset protection managers, we share information back and forth on various individuals who have been caught shoplifting at our store and other nearby Walmarts. The investigation software that Walmart uses keeps track of the total amount that an individual might be up to for theft, vehicle information, and even in some cases arrest records, etc. Also, talking to a person directly allows you to see how they react such as: avoiding eye contact, how they talk, body language, and other important details.

Luckily, the company I work for has EAP. They're very lenient when it comes to taking time off for health reasons whether it be mental or physical. I agree with you when it comes to having mental health officers. It makes a huge difference in an individuals performance. Also, you're not fat! Who would say such a dumb thing? Was it an 80lb crakk-head who got upset that you asked him not to loiter? 😂

I carry a S&W 442 daily and it’s always my vehicle gun. It’s there it’s simple to use and if you have to use a gun while seated in your car a revolver will be better than shooting a semi auto inside a car with spent casings flying all around the vehicle with you. I do carry a semi auto also though, each one has its place. In my home I’m grabbing my shottie first but I do keep various options stationed inside the home while I’m there.

Great video and crucial topic of discussion. Alot of people normally walk away from such scenarios but security professionals or ex police / military feel compelled to step in. Again depending on the context of the scenario and where it's happening. As a security proffessional (both in public or private sector) value training ìncoporated with situational awareness would make a big difference while handling such threatening scenarios. Training helps in disescalation but it should be within the legal framework to avoid liability. I would also add emotional intelligence as a must have skill that would come in handy

Kyle Rittenhouse was justified defending himself whether you believe he should have been there or not. I do not believe Daniel was trying to kill anyone and your cameraman 's insinuation that he was is ridiculous. You are justified in using deadly force if you can prove that you did not start the altercation and you have a reasonable fear of imminent serious bodily injury or death. That is pretty much the standard across the country for being justified. In my opinion Daniel should have never been charged and I am happy that he was acquitted.
