I rented this when it came out, and this is the only thing I remembered from this movie, lol😂

My admittedly over-optimistic opinions on all of the scenes: The 1932 scene is the TRUE OG. Also, the charms were removed. The 1959 scene is admittedly cheesy on so many levels, but they made Kharis look like he was scared and quietly accepting his fate. In my opinion, whatever Sir Christopher Lee did in this scene, he did a good job. The 1999 mummification scene was disturbing because of the tongue-cutting, and the scarabs. Even the original Imhotep and Kharis would be horrified at this. At least his priests had a slightly better fate. Emphasis on SLIGHTLY. Because being mummified alive, with or without the Hom Dai, is not very fun. The 2017 version was the most disturbing, but most would disagree, and for good reason. The scarabs are one of the most infamous parts of the 1999 film. Oh, and Ahmanet was a greedy princess who couldn't stand that her brother would get the throne of Egypt, so she went nuts and made a pact with Set, who is apparently the Egyptian equivalent of Satan. But hear me out. At least the other versions kept the camera outside of the sarcophagus. Here, for a second or two, we get Ahmanet's POV. That is hardcore, and it would make us really feel sorry for her, complete monster or not.

I remember this really well. Jack seems to have ruined Chrimbo by sending terrifying prezzies to poor kids but Santa eventually fixes Chrimbo as we know. Anyway I've seen it about loads of times and it's kinda eerie and strange but it's very good. I think my sister stills has it on DVD so she got it for Chrimbo in 2002 when she was fourteen years old. As for when Jack addresses the little boy as "sonny", the real Santa in this universe thought that everybody in Halloween Town was cuckoo except for Sally. (See Santa's advice to Jack about the desire to take over the holiday of another being that Sally is the one to turn to for advice and you'll see what I mean).

When Jack asked the little boy "what is your name?" that should have been a clue to the little boy that this is not the real Santa because kids are told that Santa knows everybody's name.
