I feel as if the italian makes it all more legitimate, since it is very likely that italy was part of the new cities, and the speech at 14:49 moved me on another level. The writing is amazing.

This butchers the lore and assumes a lot about the autonomy of Overwatch units. Their memory is wiped regularly to ensure compliance and efficiency. You'd never see an Overwatch soldier laugh, that's just Hollywood villainy for the sake of it. Wtf is going on at 25:57, that's just silly. Idk this is just kinda pretentious slop ngl.

I have a feeling that all this will happen soon. Dr. Brenner looks like the antichrist, the combines are the soldiers who swear to serve the only government, the only religion, and Xen, looks more like the Devil's own Hell. Freeman? Will it be Christ himself coming and ending Satan's government. Dark days are coming, and whoever wants to pay to see it, will pay dearly. Great movie for Half Life, I was shocked.

I almost cried at the end.

It's a classic tale, you could see where the plot and story is going to go. But execution is everything. And let me tell you, it was emotional, had an impact on me and I couldn't take my attention away from it. The 40 minutes were gone in a moment. Allow me to give special praise to the sound and music use. It was perfection. The Russian orthodoxy choir along with the imagery hit me like bag of bricks, I had goosebumps. And a testament to Valve's own musical genius, I loved how you used their music and the perfect moments. As an aside, although I do not speak Spanish, the voices sounded very charismatic, like honey. One point of minor criticism though, I would think the Combine voice modulation should be more like the original, where it is almost inhuman. But, again. This is minor. And my god, the potential for storytelling in the Half-Life universe is enormous. Thank you dearly for exploring it. Normally most of the Half-Life fan content is humorous, which I love, but it is refreshing to get such a serious take on the universe. The animation, and visual story telling is superb and organic, speak less, show more. I wish professionals would re-learn this rule. I don't make long reviews as I have a hard time coming up with words to say. For this video it was easy to make, because the words came by themselves, and they are truthful.

Absolutely amazing work. Im so glad i made myself watch it, only maybe thing i found weird is that city 17 is canonically located in eastern europe, but everything is narated in spanish (if im correct), witch isnt really fitting. Anyways great work i really enjoyed watching this.

I personally dislike this movie. It's long and kind of cliche. The 40min plot easily could fit 4min. Characters and graphics are extremely ugly. I don't understand if that's just "Alyx" thing, or modern games look like shit. Well i don't say that author did a bad job animating and making cinematic scenes, and just because of that, i give this movie 6 out of 10.

Really good animation even tho its unreallistic , by the time someone becomes a Wallhammer, ordinal and so on they completely lose their humanity and are unable to remove the mask becouse of the cybernetics under it like for axample the eyes on the mask are the real eyes on a ordinal. but amazing story and seeing that headcrab in a crib is disqusting

Why are so many Half Life fans films about humanizing the combine soldiers? It's like watching "Come and See" then making your own movie about how the Wehrmacht were damaged and smol beans who didnt have a choice. It's disturbing.
