You did an incredible job on this bus. The Bedford OB has always been my favourite old coach. I even love the sound they make.
Lovely! Thanks for posting this!
dobry warun mordo
What lift is that @7:55?
Hi - its the cable car going down from the Schilthorn to Birg.
Hi, Does your ski pass allow you to ride ski busses for free, (like in Austria and France)? I'm trying to find info, but even the travel agent doesn't know. Would i still need a "half fair card, if I'm only using ski lifts and ski busses?
Yes your ski pass covers the buses in grindelwald, if you get full pass it cover trains to Interlaken ost. The last time I was there the hotel gave us a visitors card (free) and this with the ski pass gave access to the buses, so ask about it when your there, or check out the grindelwald bus online they have a route map and lots of info.
Amazing….thank you for filming it .
Please will someone tell me why it is not a restoration. I really would like to know
? it is a restoration
Please will someone tell me wy
I just LOVE old buses. They are full of CHARACTER! I'm licensed to drive buses, & I'd love to drive this one!
Crash gearbox!
Is the music Beethoven? Very beautiful.
Hi. Its Chopin Nocturnes Op 9 No 2 in E Flat
Paused to write how much I'm enjoying your video. Thanks.
Thankyou, its one of my favourites as well 😄
where did you stay in wengen? what hotel?
Hi. It was the Falken Hotel
Gorgeous bus. The Bedford OB has always been my favourite style of bus. Would have loved to hear something about the trials and tribulations of the restoration process.
Bus looks great, but would have preferred listening to its engine and gearbox rather than the music provided!
Nice to see the old bus driving round, where was the restoration part though?
As one of the previous comment said. Very pretty seeing this lovely old Bedford coach on its short run, but it was NOT a restoration, plus the music was an irritation. Better to hear the engine and gear changes AND to see how they got it to this lively state
In which country can we see this bus....? Actually in India in my childhood days I travelled along with my parents in this lorry type of buses...!!👌👌👌
The film was made around the Alsager area of Cheshire in the UK.
@@BlackcloudRailways thanks for that . As an ex-pat I always look to see if I can recognise the location .
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Jolly Good..save it for your kids.
BEAUTIFUL, 60 KM/H MAX.
Trop beau le bus Bedford et bien plus romantique que les autobus d'aujourd'hui qui se ressemblent tous !
My nan used to take me on day trips using those Bedford coaches. I had seats near the front so I could watch the driver double de clutch with the crash gear box. The music was a nuisance though.
Nice video but it was NOT about a restoration.
A great restoration; the gasolene powered OB with its signature gearbox whine, a classic.
Great film and, of course a great coach. However, although the music was good, I think it took the sound of that lovely Bedford OB.
4.35..Yes, I definitely prefer the Bedford...
Old childhood memories of Bedford trucks and buses on Indian roads have come back.
thank you! people use to care what things looked like. now days? nope
One of the nicest Bedfords to drive the OB. I had one as a furniture van.
Bonita melodia
I would like to advise to Indian govt. to permit such old restorated coaches.
Beautiful countryside.
It is nice and cool. I envy you in a good way.
Was skiing there the same time as you this year
Nice video👍
The only better thing than the bus in this video is his smile. 🙏
This has been really delightful to watch
Absolut fantastisch! Einfach super wie die Wolken um den weißen Berg fliegen und die Richtung ändern. Tolle Arbeit. Ich mache auch Zeitraffer Videos. Weiter so. Grüße aus Stuttgart
Beautiful well done👍
Selfie sticks are so dangerous!
I want to hear the bus, not the crappy music
When I was at secondary school in the 50s I think that it was one of these that I travelled to school in. Until I figured out that if I left for school earlier I could run to school and pocket the bus fare my mother gave me. Beautiful bus though.
Petrol Powered? That was quite surprising.
Normal for Bedfords of this era.
I drove one 1947 with a convertible LANGWORTH cattle waggon body ,lovely brakes some moaned about brakes but that was because they were OVERLOADED, If they could get it ON they would take it ??
Typical dif whine ??
That's great, Phil. Is it you playing the piano, too :)
Bless you Pete old son! Love his Bessie Smith! Phil, thankyou for this post! More here! th-cam.com/video/BphzLDU_ecU/w-d-xo.html
don't think much of your driving crashing the gears, try double de clutching as its an old vehicle not a modern one,
