@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 Yeah, this car is by no means a "survivor". Went through an extensive restoration and is likely one of the nicest '59s in the world now. Probably nicer than it was new, honestly. Currently up for auction with four days left and the current high bid is $60,500.

It really is a beauty. Love all of the design choices and modifications he made.

@@DesertMotors hard to find a 84’ 911 cabriolet with the slant nose/whale tail wide body. Is this the steel conversion kit?

@@isaacolsen7595 To be completely honest with you, I have no idea. I shoot these cars for a client of mine and typically they go up for auction and I get to see an entire description of them. Looking back this one never went to auction. Likely sold before it went live.

Thanks. Glad you stuck around, too. These videos honestly really aren't meant for view on TH-cam, but for potential buyers on the auction site they are on. Hope to one day make some videos that are more geared towards just watching on TH-cam, though.

Have to get out of the busy parts of the valley to really enjoy it, but there are definitely some good ones and plenty of great weather for it most of the year.

I like light interiors with some colors (like a light tan with dark blue or green), but in general I think black or other darker colors are a little more safe in general.

Would be interesting for sure. I've driven a handful of Emiras and really like them, though. Definitely a lot more high-tech and advanced than their older cars, but still super engaging and the manual gearbox is one of the best on the market for sure.

For sure. Trucks in general have gotten absurdly oversized. Nice to see a couple manufactures bringing back some smaller ones, though. Would be nice if the some Japanese manufacturers released some smaller ones like they used to as well.

It hasn’t been listed yet, but it should be live on Bring a Trailer fairly soon. Hard to say what it will go for, but people seem to like Guards Red and it’s very low mileage, so I wouldn’t be shocked if it went for about $300,000 or more. I think 993s are only on the rise.

It's definitely up there. I'm not sure the exterior color would personally be my first choice, but I certainly appreciate it. Such great cars.

To tell you the truth, I feel the same way. I'm not a big fan of 911 Cabs in general and the whale tail is almost never my favorite, but something about this just works for me. The interior is also super unique and, amazingly, this is a one-owner car that has been in Arizona its entire life. Was sold at a Phoenix dealership.

I do like the green a lot. Refreshing compared to the typical colors you see. And it is definitely pretty slammed, but I agree, it looks great. Had to be careful around big bumps, haha. I believe it was raised a bit after I shot it.

It's actually a ton of fun considering the lack of power and relatively cheap price. Obviously stands out a lot on the road, too.

They are great. One of those cars you can really enjoy at lower speeds, which is big for me.

I'm sure it still exists, but I have no idea where it is now. Sold for $29,000 back in January 2022.

It's definitely a solid yellow. "Speed Yellow"/"speedgelb". Very very similar to Ferrari's Giallo Fly yellow.

Oh, the best. Can park it anywhere, world-class gas mileage, lowkey so you don't stand out too much...

Haha. Would be fun to get a bunch of older cars of all types together some time for a shoot. Stuff like this, then stuff like a Tudor and an Edsel and a Ford pickup and some kind of Mercury or something...

I like it so much more than the red/white, white/blue, black/gold, etc. that you normally see.

It’s a Pioneer touch screen unit. Not sure of the specific model. These aren’t my cars, I just photograph/drive them. If it were my car and I actually wanted to drive it, I would definitely upgrade it to something modern with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Hope you’re able to get yours out on the road soon!

This car made me realize that white is definitely my favorite color for the 964.

They are definitely nice and solid from this era. Satisfying door shuts all around.

They do. It's not really a traditional top, but there is one. It's completely removable and has side curtains that drop in for side windows.
