Grand Pitstop Air Cushion Seat which solved my tailbone(coccyx) pain issue during long rides
I have been riding for over a decade now but recently(2 years back) started facing tail bone pain issues during long rides(over 1 hour). This issue worsened when i would rides bikes which had an upright or laid back riding position. I recently tried the Air Cushion Seat from Grand Pitstop which has solved my problem for the most part.
This review is after using the seat on the new Himalayan and the Honda H'ness for around 700kms in total.

Nice... From where did you get the vinyl sticker for hand guard
Local stickering shop
Great work
Are you from Mumbai the. Please do let me know the shop name...
Thanks for this video now I'm satisfied with the decision i made, please let me know how to hide dent that i recently had on my OEM crash guard
Not nut its bolt
hi bro, i have watched all your videos, i have a doubt , today i have ordered both these "STHIRA Motocycle Gel Seat Cushion" and this "Air Gel Cruiser seat". which one should i go for, since i'm facing the pain in tail bone after a long ride of 150km. can you please guide me with your experience. I also won a Kamet white himmy 450 borther..
Hi there, i would suggest going for the Air Cushion seat which will solve your tail bone issue for the most part. If you sit on the edge of the air cushion seat when fully inflated, you will end up reducing the pressure on your tail bone by upto 90%. The only down side to this setup is that it will raise the seat height.
For me, the overdue message appear randomly, but the overdue option not available in the menu, what could be the reason?
Hi bro from where did you get the rim stickering done? Looks cool!
Thanks, local shop near by house
Appreciate the way ur making videos. To the point & sensible. Thank you for the information. Helps ppl to choose the right one.
Thank you so much😊
👍👍👍
Very good information👍👍👍
Thank you😊
Why install the “spacer” and then require a longer “nut” (bolt) ? If one doesn’t use the spacer , can the available smaller length bolt be used ?
Without spacer the hand guard touches the brake and clutch lever.
Thanks Om 👍🏼
Helpful Video - I am planning to get the same for my Spiti Ride from the dealer (hopefully they have it in stock at Chandigrah) ... where did you get the handle guards, I was looking for the same one . Thanks in advance.. Om !
Thanks...i have made a dedicated video on my channel regarding the hand guards. Do check it out.
Hi bro, I thought of installing rally protection but later on I went with RE OEM crash guard. But looking for engine bash plate now can you help me in suggesting good one?
U can go for Mototorque or Zana bash plates.
If we install the other crash guard apart from RE OEM, will our actual warranty be voided?
Nope.. warranty is not affected.
@@omkar_121 thanks brother for the reply, but when I asked showroom person they said if anything happens to Bike after installing third party crash gaurd then your warranty will not be covered we will not fix like that they said so confused to go with outside or RE one. Please provide me some knowledge on this
Tubless ör not ?
With tube
Is it controls heat also?
Some what yes
Is prosec windshield extender is better or this one??
The extender might be marginally better, but it completely ruins the look of the bike. The extender will give you complete wind protection if you install it on the taller windscreen.
@@omkar_121 can you tell me what is the height of the wind deflector with the extender? I am a 6ft guy and the OEM rally windshield hit me on my chin so. Will the prosec be better?
Are the spacers also come with the hand guard? Where to get the spacers?
The black thing you can see at 1.07 in the video. They come in the box.
What is the weight difference between stock and others like moto torque?
Probably around 1-2 kg
i have this on my himalayan. it is very good for touring. i alsu use this type of cushion on my interceptor
from where did you get the windscreen and the hand guard??? been trying since dec to get one for my bike
From the RE dealership
looks good but not worth. Better options in market.
Could you please suggest
How to buy it brother online option not showing on RE website and also long waiting on dealer
Online not possible...you may have to check with other RE dealerships in your locality for availability.
Must be little broad ⚠️
I am getting back pain from long rides, should I go for air cushions as you suggested or the OEM touring seat, I am looking for most comfortable option. Additionally I need comfort for pillion as well.
Try the air cushion and see...If your tail bone hurts then you can look at the gel seat with the cut out.... i am yet to try the touring seat.
Can tou review the OEM touring seat by RE
I have used this knuckle guard in my classic 350... This is a gun product. And don't worry in my case it never got loose even after I dropped the bike multiple times during my last ladhak trip. You can probably get the bolt torqued by the pneumatic wrenches that are used in the service center during the next visit to ensure complete tightness.
How long ? This long 😂
I saw it . Feels like all plastic. Metal is good for handguards i guess.
Totally depends on what you plan on doing with the bike.
Nice job il put that too on my new Himalayan 450
Very good job !
Thanks a lot!
From where did you get those handguards looks very nice
Hi, i have made a dedicated video on the hand guards on my channel. Please check it out.
A good alternative, I was hoping these to be the 450 release. 😞 Good job with the taping.
Guys when i say nut, i mean to say bolt😅 Sorry for the wrong reference.
Hi, from where did you get those matching knuckle guards? Are they of RE, whats the price? Thanks.
Hi, i have made a dedicated video on the hand guards on my channel. Please check it out.
Hi bro. Nice to finally see a Goan do a review of the Himalayan❤. I have booked the bike but initially was told that the wait time is 4 months. But I got a message by Royal Enfield that it is delayed. I wanted to know how long it took for your bike to be delivered? And how the experience has been so far on Goan roads and traffic?
Hi, the delivery time will depend on your dealership and the color booked by you. I got my Kamet White in a month's time. However the Hanley Black could take around 4 months.
@@omkar_121 Thanks for the reply. I’m assuming you ordered your bike when it was launched. Mine is the Kaza brown and I ordered it from the Garage cafe in Baga. How has your experience been so far on the bike for everyday use?
My bike Kamet white delivered within 2 months. Great performance till now.
Handle guard are superb. Could you please make a video or send me link so that I can purchase.
Ok sure👍
Hi, i have made a dedicated video on the hand guards on my channel. Please check it out.
Since you have done enough touring on this bike? Are you facing issues with the seat? Are your balls being jammed and family planning being hampered?
Haha no issues with family planning, but yes the seat though spacious has very less padding which makes it uncomfortable for longer rides. I have made a dedicated video on a gel seat which i have installed.
that sounds nasty !
Nice video bro. Handle guard is superb. Please provide the link and tell me the price of handle guard. Thanks
Hi, i have made a dedicated video on the hand guards on my channel. Please check it out
Crisp and precise video. Subscribed to your channel . RE could have made this as a stock and the price is double than aftermarket products.
Yes agreed.
But the pricing of the windshield is high
Yes i agree
How did you got the bike in 6th gear?
Put the bike on the main stand and keep shifting. If you are doing this on the side stand then you will have to move the bike back and forth and keep shifting gears. The bike can remain ignition mode in both the cases.
@@omkar_121 i tried that. For me, it doesn't go beyond 2nd gear. Hence.
Move the bike front and back slightly and try again. It go. Or else put it on the main stand...start the engine and then shift to 6th and turn off the engine.
@@omkar_121 will try.
Take off the saree guard, it's an eye sore.
Which mobile holder r u using in ur H450

Wld u b able to show the impact points. Can u try laying the bike gently on ground and show the impact points
Unfortunately i wont be able to lay the bike down...but i can tell you that the impact points were the handle bar end/hand gaurds(if installed), the crash gaurd and the foot peg which is designed to fold under impact.
👍👍
❤️🙌
Thank you😊

My bike also having high rpm issue, but after seeing your video, I checked my bikes pipe.that is cracked, I changed it , now all is okk...tnx bro.for information
Where is the pipe connected ? I am unable to find
@@anmolsehgal2007 try to see below handlebar or front chasis part....there is space for that pipe
@@AnandKumar-ci8wb I see one pipe assemble coming from front of the engine which is connected to a unit under the front handle bar, is that the one? Cause I see one pipe broken from there
@@anmolsehgal2007 yes...
Thank u so much for Giving very Good information sir 👍😊
