The song is written and possibly sung in this original by the singer sisa Agi (Agnes Nagi from Surinam). This is the original version. So far I have not found the correct lyrics, and their meaning. I´ve heard different things about the exact language and its meaning. Is it Saamaka, Nduka, Kromanti~? Is it about a girl or about a dove~?Does anyone know more~?

Rip Agi ❤
Hi there people listening to one of my fav tracks. Faluma is a dove. I cant understand all of it. But its basically someone being accused about killing dove and the person is saying they swear that they didnt do nothing. love and blessing to you all x

Leuke video!
Ok.lmao I thought A. Hinds made this song. Low and behold...
171TITO No I am afraid she did not make this song. this song is made by a group called ai sa sjie. I do love her version but this is the original one. The woman that originally sings this did it in her own native tongue.
Was it 'made' by them or is it a folk song handed down through generations?
Not originally no. The woman that made it is the one you hear right now. Sisa Agi

can some one translate this pleeaaaassseeeeeeeeeeeee?!?!?!?!?!?!!
Suriname Mi kondre, Mijn land, My country
@jurmainspitfaya I live in the U.K, where can I learn this laungage? Are there still many people from Ghana that speak it?
stinkyloo123 . we don't originally speak it. for us it had died out because we were not aloud to speak it. So we speak a language called sranang tongo.( a combination of many languages together. to know more you have got to learn more about Suriname history.
The cars in English hand ?
Great Song. Thank you Ai Sa Sie, the original performers of this song. This brings you back to your roots.

Ai, switie sranan' A real paradise !
I like it. I love the Square One version but I appreciate and enjoy being able to hear the "original." They're both good.
Square One did such a better job with their version
Lets just say they did a good job. Nothing beats the original
Not better... they did a great job bringing it to the rest of the Caribbean. ❤
Sranang tongo = Surinamese

That is very true. The Alison Hinds/SquareOne version, it was an international hit it is good, however I like the original alot better. Do you know a translation?
