    How long do you let it dry before adding the tough coat? This method worked beautifully until I put the tough coat on. It did bubble, I left it dry, did the iron again still have bubbles? It’s very disappointing to get to the last step to have your piece ruined. It was beautiful before I put this tough coat on it. This is on the face of an end table, so it definitely needed added protection. Is there anything I can do for the bubbles now?

    • @NextTimeAround
      @NextTimeAround หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good afternoon. Sorry this happened to you. You mentioned having bubbles. do you have bubbles in your top coat or are you getting wrinkles in your decoupage paper? The wrinkles should iron out when you re-iron it. If you have air bubbles in your Tough Coat, then the bubbles are there because the container was shaken beforehand causing the product to have air bubbles. You will need to sand the top coat to remove the bubbles, and then reapply another coat. Remember to stir the Tough Coat well, but don't shake it. I hope this helps.

      @wayneMacBeth-x9d หลายเดือนก่อน

      The paper bubbled. I left it dry overnight before I applied the tough coat. Was that too long of a drying time before putting the tough coat on? It bubbled right away, but then I left it dry before I tried to iron it again. It was beautifully smooth before putting the tough coat on as a finisher.

    • @NextTimeAround
      @NextTimeAround หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@wayneMacBeth-x9d It sounds like you did everything right. I haven't had anyone (nor myself) experience this the way you have. Sometimes we see a few wrinkles after applying the Tough Coat, but they easily iron out. I'm wondering if Fusion has changed the product in some way. This video was made in 2018 so it's possible but I have not been made aware of any changes. The only thing I can think of is to try ironing it again...to reactivate all coats (Ultra Grip and Tough Coat) to get the paper to lay flat again. Good luck.

    Praise Hayah, all you nations! Extol Him, all you peoples (Psalm 117:1) ! // SHLM & HaB (peace & love). The Name of the Creator is Hayah Asher Hayah, as what He told Moshah (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). ...for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Hayah (Romans 3:23). The wages for sin is death but the gift of ALaHYM is Everlasting Life through Messiah Yahushgh our Master (Romans 6:23). That if you confess with your mouth the Master Yahushgh and believe in your heart that ALaHYM raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). He Himself is an Atoning Offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world (1 John 2:2).

    This iron - on method of decoupage is the absolute BEST WAY to apply your paper. I would never do it any other way now. I just finished decoupaging an old wooden tray and I ironed the paper down onto the base of the tray, and then I cut away the excess paper with an exacto knife. I still use Mod Podge but I let it dry first before ironing on the paper. Love from Amanda in Australia

    Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included th-cam.com/users/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

    so.. 1st clean with warm soapy water and hand dry, then 2nd rub Kosher salt in with a lemon, 3rd paint the hemp oil on the board with a new brush, wait for 10 min and do another coating if necessary. My comments to add are that it should be said Hemp Oil is great because it permanently cures into the pores of the wood unlike mineral oil AND when you apply oils to wood the best results are when used on dry wood!
