what being on steroids is REALLY like 🌝

TW !! discussions of weight gain, body image issues & insecurities - apologies I didn't think to put a warning at the beginning of the video, but the topic of steroids is very intertwined with body image problems for me, so that is a strong theme throughout the whole video! In case you are feeling delicate today & perhaps don't want to hear about all of that, maybe give this one a miss :)
Also for anyone wondering the steroid I am on is prednisolone, but I have also been on hydrocortisone in the past too!
& finally just to clarify, this video is not meant to dissaude anyone from steroids (as they are very effective, & I owe a lot of my lung stability to them!!) but more to shed light on the realities of being on them i.e. difficult side effects
