whoever installed the CMC didn’t swap the rods over. notice how long the rod is on the cmc you removed vs the OEM. it is required to swap the rod on the EM1 cmc to oem since it’s too long. if you run an aftermarket clutch with heavier pressure plate, you’ll blow out the OEM cmc with delay valve that’s why people go with an OEM em1 or em2 cmc since there’s less stuff to break and no fancy diaphragms

I gotta replace my CMC AND CSC, when you took out the CMC, did you have to remove any other parts? I saw a video where this guy took out parts from under the windshield, the battery, the throttle body, and so on.
It definitely helps to take out the battery. As for the throttle body that might make it easier too but probably less necessary
nice. why didn't you take a Mishimoto radiator ?
Did you have to do anything with flash pro because of what you did to your intake? Thought it was a short ram at first.

If the clutch is staying down you dont have fluid pressure pushing it back up
What trans does it have

I heard u have to replaced both (master & slave ) at the same time when one goes bad
If you do replace both get the hard motion slave it’s been great on my Si
I hear OEM is the way and in most cases absolutely....when it comes to the CMC, I have been through two now after upgrading my clutch to a stage 2. It seems to be the same issue with the O ring failing in the delay valve. Is it because of the increased pressure on the pressure plate? I am not sure, but I have to go aftermarket because I've been stranded twice now due to the OEM CMC...just my experience
Absolutely understandable in situations like that! but as long as it’s been working for you bro that’s all that matters! And I don’t think the clutch stage has anything to do with it that’s weird they keep blowing out I have a friend I know that it happens to him, frequently with both oem and aftermarket they keep blowing out
Go with the em1 upgrade im going to be doing it this weekend the em1 upgrade is better check some forums!
I went with the K Tuned CMC...time will tell from here!
@@Rezymediaem2 cmc is best. no need to swap push rod, and the line orientation is the same at the stock 8th gen cmc where as on the em1 they’re flipped.

Naw bro it always comes back the fuel pump issue. It’s the computer that’s causing it I swapped computer to a stock one and the fuel pump primed immediately
It is the ecu I did the same thing at Hday with a friends ecu and it primed right away 😩

what are you smoking? that "triangle thing" is a clutch delay valve. It doesnt help you "bang gears" wtf. its a damper valve it actually causes delays in clutch engagement thats why people swap for cmc's without one or buy block off plates who told you that 😂
😂😂 only the best lol. But idk for me I’ve had bad experiences with the aftermarket cmc and when a friend told me that these new oem cmcs are improved I gave it a try and I have mines paired with a hard motion slave cylinder with the stainless steel line and adjusted and I can bang the gears without any problems it’s worked for me and so far it’s been working for my friend in his car (the one in the video) because even he had problems with the one he had so I just shared my input on it

I had a Similar problem. My ECU had a problem. The S300 is piggybacking off of a 30 year old ECU that is bound to fail eventually.

Aye i know manassas when i see it lol but i just changed my cmc and slave but for some reason i still have a dead pedal after bleeding, no leaks-any ideas?
Sorry I just saw this sometimes those slaves with clutch master take forever to bleed you just have to keep trying ( try the 5 pumps and then open the bleeder valve and keep checking the fluid if not you can also switch to pumping it 10 times and then open the bleeder) if anything you might have to bench bleed the master cylinder if it got air or something with it
You’re gonna notice high rpm it’s gonna look you out of gear cause of that delay valve (hybrid racing sells a oem em1 master)
Those are the the old outdated ones these new ones come improved in my Si run a oem clutch master cylinder with a hard motion slave and a steel braided clutch line and of course adjusted properly and never have had a problem since I tried that hybrid racing and it didn’t work for me but just my opinion bro
Honda has a new updated one and I believe it either doesn’t have it or it’s not as bad

The fuel pump priming is an ecu issue, there is a specific part on it that needs to be replaced, @crxfrank in san bernadino repairs this shit. Its super annoying, but its a cheap fix

Sometimes you just have to keep trying to bleed it until it works and if the still didn’t work you would have to check that you have no little leaks around the washers
did you bench bleed the master cylinder before putting it in the car? if not you could be bleeding for days..

bleed the clutch same way for brakes you can find a better youtube video on it than i could explain in the comments, get a friend to pump the pedal, it’s easier with 2 people
Yeah you have to bleed it, pump it 5 times and open up the bleeder valve, the first times you might not get any fluid out but once you get fluid coming out keep doing it til no more bubbles come out and the pedal has pressure

Hey man can you explain specifically how to adjust the cmc like you did in the video cause idk if you turned it clockwise or counter clockwise, I’ve tried to find videos on yt to do it and some say that clockwise is good and some say it’s bad and some say counterclockwise is good and some are bad. I’m super confused with the whole adjustment so I just want to get that cleared up
Go clockwise until you feel some resistance and then counterclockwise just have of a turn..and you should be good

Tbh bro I don’t think it’s a branded intercooler but it’s definitely around 3-4 inches wide
