    Been dehydrating Pumpkin seeds and grinding them , like crazy for the last couple of weeks . Got about 20 pumpkins for free from a grower/seller right after halloween . Im puting them in mason jars and sucking the air out with a brake bleeder . Hope it will hold , never did it before . The pumpkins went into my compost pile . I think you can get similar benefits from winter squash seeds also .

      Thank you very much Arvind Kumar for your question How to roast: The Clean and dried seeds will need to be roasted first before they can be eaten. Place some oil in a pan. Add the dried seeds and mix with spoon. Place the pan on a low gas flame. Keep stirring to avoid burning. It will be ready when you notice slight browning. If you allow deeper browning the oil inside will burn. You can add the spicy flavours of your choice with the oil. The roasted seeds are very tasty and easy to crush in the mouth. Arvind, please look up in my channel In Search For Wellness. I have demonstrated how one can roast the pumpkin seeds in the oven. Pumpkin seeds have a lot of good oils. They have Omega 3 Fatty acids, proteins and minerals. particularly of great interest is zinc. They are known for zinc content for prostrate health and immune system.

      Thank you Valdemar Sure I agree , this procedure is not ideal for tons of seeds.. Tons of seeds is a lot of seeds. One may need a factory setting. One may use the correct gauge of a net which is stretched out by supports. Ensure that most of the soft matter is removed from the pumpkin seeds and then spread the fresh seeds on the net. Use a sprayer to wet the seeds and then rub then on the net while spraying the water to wash out unneeded flesh. Continue until all seed is clean. If the sun is shining one may leave the seeds out to dry. if no sunshine one may need a warm blower or place the seeds in the oven.

      Hallo S. Simte Thank you for visiting In Search For Wellness. I usually dry them on my kitchen top for 4-5 days. However one can also dry them for 2 days in the sunlight After they are dried up , they can be planted.

      Thank you Chander for visiting my channel. 1. I have washed those seeds in a strainer under running water as demonstrated 2. I have left them to dry in the sane strainer 3. I have placed the strainer with cleaned seeds on a bowl. This ensures that they do not stay dump but dries out well 4. The seeds have been left on the kitchen top to dry slowly for four to five days 5. One may also dry them in the sunshine

      Thank you BLS BLS 1. The dried seeds may be roasted or milled with the fibrous shell 2. How to peel: i. the seeds has a rounded edge and also a pointed tip ii. with a sharp blade or small knife, open up from the pointed tip iii. With the blade in between the two skins of the shell, peel out the the white skin iv. inside you will find the greenish oil rich portion of the pumpkin seed
