I'm getting close to 2k hours in this game. I still love it to death, but I would give anything to relive my first 500 hours, the absolute cluelessness and paranoia of it all was some of the most fun I've ever had in a video game.

I haven't playd video games in well over a decade. Absolutely zero interest. However if I was going to start again the only thing I'd be interested in is hunt.

Watched this video as a newbie who got carried years ago only to choke on my coffee when the 'numb pro Hunt player' was mentioned. Cause... yeah, I straight up hunt other players now. I became what I feared XD

When you start HLL you WILL die a lot in the beginning but when you get hold of the mechanics you WILL fall in love with it

You do get Intel if you die there's a little red directional flare when you take any damage when a bullet takes you in one though it only appears for a couple of frames though sometimes not at all happens more at higher pings, so if you're paying attention you can see it. Also after like 500 hours you kinda have a sixth sense from where they're shooting.

4:30 As a former Project Reality and Squad player, I can't even begin to tell you how satisfactory this clip is. These two dudes working together, the Automatic Rifleman's shots being guided by his squad mate, maybe SL. I've been in both positions and there is no better feeling to work with someone like that and have your shots land on the enemy. The joy you feel is amazing. One of the situations I had was similar, only in Kashan, in PR: I had an AR kit and a squad mate told me "do you see that dude running right to left in next to the bunker, maybe 300 yards out? That's a HAT, light him the fuck up".

I really suck in Hunt, K/D only 0.7 after 500 hours, but it's still my favourite game and it gives me hell lot of fun.

The authentic music is like icing on the cake. Dude was singing Andre Nicatina. I love that it's realism, you can't see the enemy. You get randomly blown up, the MG is nuts, it's amazing

Absolute fantastic analysis. Hunt is probably the first game to me, in which I can invest a lot of time for a great match, get smoked 50cm before the finish line and end up in the menu with a smile on my face thinking "damn, that guy got me good!" I think the main reason for this is that while Hunt is complex, stressfull and demanding, it is never chaotic in itself. What makes it chaotic is your lack of ability in it. The game always provides you with options and only suckerpunches you if you did not weigh your options properly. Essentially if provides you a compley environment to fight against your own mind. You will quickly learn to obtain the necessary intel, but taking the right decisions from it is the mastery behind it.

The map design and environmental story telling is top notch and the lore is surprisingly well developed

This video made me reinstall HLL. I've only played it for 10 hours, but they were pretty damn memorable. Throwing myself at the German emplacements on Normandy over and over again, fighting for every yard. Huddling in a log cabin with only my mosin for company, picking off unaware soldiers as they trudged through the snow and trees. Sneaking through the brush with my squad in search of an American sniper team that had been harassing our frontline, waging our own little fight away from the larger battle hundreds of yards away. Hiding in the mud and picking off dozens of soldiers as they came down a hill in the distance, having to pick them out through nothing but movement because if they stood still they'd be invisible. It's like Rising Storm cranked up to 11

A fantastic game, but not for everyone. My one friend and I play constantly, but my other friend can't stand the game.

My take on this Game: Its fun. BUT it is missing several things without really being sure what is missing. There is just not enough in the game to being fullfilling. 1. You barely need to craft anything. Meds? Easy find in raid and bandages + food is close to always available. 2. Balancing. It makes 0 sence to have a Tier 13 Armor (highest in game) when you get onetapped in the helmet by the BAR, SVT, APS, SVU etc... Or in the chest only 2 shots. Should i tank 1 hit without armor or 1 with the highest level? ITS THE SAME. You only tank more against 10mm, 9mm and all other starters. 3. Ships. They are not extremely pricey but still too much for only 1 life. The higher lvl ships are to not get destroyed, but once players enter it, the armor and firepower is useless. YOU DIED. 4. The Tasks for the 3 groups are difficult. Difficult in terms of that as a new player, you know absolutely nothing. Where? What? And youll only learn it by actively searching with mediocre playtimes; Finding them by accident with a really high amount of playtime; Or just study the wiki to save time. Should it be like this? 5. The KI is... just as many other games have. Sometimes they obliterate you and sometimes they stand around and let you shoot them several times in the head until they're dead. 6. The playerbase seems to be only new players or +1000h. I rarely see any players that are in the Midgame. Still im proud of the Studio. They seem to actually care for the game, since they increase the amount of updates. Thank you for reading!

As long games will not limit the output of voip. I refuse to play with people who play with a cheap headset or mic that is running 100% volume output

Its one of those "weird fetish" games. You gotta like getting one-shot killed. I put a mag in them, nothing, one or 2 shots out of their guns and I am dead. This is not a game for the masses. Which is kinda weird.

I've played Hunt for years now. I bought it on a whim, because I was curious about the concept. It is by far the best shooter I have ever played, and the one game I truly believe I will never tire of. I take breaks, of course, but I always ALWAYS come back. It's just that good. EDIT: 7months later. I took a break, now I'm back. This game is the goat BR

im in desperate need of a Partner for teaming up in Hunt, it sucks to play with another Person in every single Round and my Friends all play Total War, Diablo 4 and Baldurs Gate 3... this is the best Game ive ever played and i dont want to miss a single second of Gamecontent

I will say the shotguns are SO iffy. Bota will destroy you with them and then you use it and they do NOTHING
