มุมมอง 243ปีที่แล้ว
As a dump truck driver for a paving company, we are laid off a few months in the winter here in Kentucky. So I take advantage of the off time to load up the bike in the trailer and head South to the Florida Keys. Ride with Tammy and I as we explore the Everglades on an airboat with The Everglades Safari. It was a blast.

มุมมอง 4972 ปีที่แล้ว
Hauling a load of dense grade limestone for my dump truck pad and delivering a load of Riprap to a customer for a drainage ditch. Part 1 of 2. I apologize for the camera lighting for the outside.....I still haven't figured out all the settings for the Max 360 yet.

Goldwing Ride To Sgt. Alvin C. York Farm 2022
มุมมอง 1002 ปีที่แล้ว
Rode the bike to Athens Tennessee to look at a dump truck to replace the one I sold. On the way back to Kentucky we rode highway 127 through Pall Mall TN and stopped at the farm and museum for WW1 Congressional Medal of Honor winner Sgt. Alvin C York. It was a really great experience to see a real hero and visit his grave. I never knew it was that close to my home.

Case Dozer Cutting Out Old Logging Road
มุมมอง 17K2 ปีที่แล้ว
For over 23 years we have been limited to travel on this old logging road due to the slopes in the hill side. Hunting season is in session here in Kentucky and I'm getting the farm ready with mowing, dozing and planting anticipating harvesting a big ole buck again. Ride with me as I push a little rock, dirt and trees to revitalize my ATV roads. Thanks for watching!!
Case 450C Dozer Clearing Roads On The Farm
มุมมอง 21K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Over the years the farm has grown up and washed out by torrential rains. After selling the last bulldozer the maintenance of the roads and fields were limited to a tractor. This Case 450C is small enough to go anywhere but tough enough to do the job.
Breaking in the new Corbin seat on the Goldwing
มุมมอง 2453 ปีที่แล้ว
Thursday was a beautiful day. Tammy and I was both off so we took advantage of it and rode 317 miles through Western Kentucky which gave us a chance to try out our new seat. Very little fatigue. I recommend the Corbin seat.

Last Flight for 2020 in my Quicksilver Ultralight
What a great machine.
It was. I sold it when I was stricken with Cancer but since healed and regret selling it. Thank you👍
nice flight,THANKS
Thank you pal. I miss flying
Thank you so much this video sir. My stepfather passed away leaving my mother with many pieces of equipment that I’ve been trying to learn how to run. My stepfather thought us kids were too dumb and irresponsible to run the equipment. Now I’ve been repairing the equipment, using it around the property, and selling them to try to help my mom. As simple as you might think your instructions are, I’ve been driving our 450c without knowing what I was doing. I replaced the fan belt and radiator on it so far. Thank you sir.
@@timparker533 thank you brother for the good words. I was in the same boat. My dad always said “ you will tear it up and I’ll have to fix it. So I basically bought my own stuff and learned by myself with a little help now and then. I swore I would never do my kids like that so I tell them “have at it!” My son operated the dozer and the backhoe better than I did. I was a Private Pilot since my early 20’s. Guess I was incompetent as well. 😉
me too in 1978 swingseat quicksilver tequilla sunrise 14 hp kawasaki southern calif. hoorey !!!
@@BrianVickeryUSAxxxx awesome!!!
Its not slow &fast its low &high range, hell cant u read dcals on machine ,great small dozer 4its size, they will surprise u what the can do,work, wise
Your wife usually reads me the decals when we are drinking beer!
gaaaaack! The music…unwatchable
Apparently you watched it. Doofus!
Winning hearts and minds calling your audience names…..you’re a confirmed jackass.
would have been nice to see what the truck looked like on the outside
Several other videos of it
Horrorosa ubicacion de la camara.
Glad you're soaring in life and in ultralight, God bless.
God has Blessed me greatly! Thank you brother.
I know I'm a little late here but to those who didn't like the music, just turn the volume down on your device and the problem is solved. So difficult! Beautiful video by the way. I live in South Dakota and I've driven that road a lot!
Thank you brother
@@wingandaprayeradventures6758 also retired LEO!
I have 300 hours in a quicksilver weight shift.
Never flew one of those. Envious!!
I have an MXL that’s about 10 years old. Why are your tri-bar downtubes different from mine? Your DTs are more like a two seater where mine are blue tubes. And I like how you have a GoPro up there!
Its called a HeMan bar. Makes it wider. Thanks for watching. I sold the plane about 3 years ago. I have been a Private Pilot since 1990 but enjoyed these little machines more than the Cessna
awesome video.. perfect song.
I live in Alabama and would really like to learn to fly ultralights, but no one flies them near hear.
Very nice
Thank you. This was several years ago. This was my third ultralight. I had just rebuilt it. I stayed low because my ailerons needed adjusted and it was a little squirrely.
Absolute dog of a system, U need 8 arms and legs to get anywhere with it. Been operating dozers for 54 yrs, Case would be the worst with Hanomag a close second, both are not operator friendly and both are dangerous in steep country.
If you’re a moron!
You need 1 hand to run that much more friendly to run than a d4 cat. You claim to have run dozer for 54 years and think you need a hand or foot on every lever and peddle? It honestly does not get any simpler than the 450 even the case 310 is more complicated to operate and you also have to remember it is torque converter drive so you can just let up on the accelerator peddle and stop
@@kevinroberts9394 Just sit yourself on a TD 15 C or TD 20 C and see how simple , safe and operator friendly they are to operate especially in steep country or in tricky situations, very user friendly they are compared to a Case.
I didn’t have a chance to watch the whole video. But how much weight do you generally haul in your setup? I love the truck
I dont have it anymore but I usually hauled 10 to 12 tons. It was a strong truck. I miss it.
Video done by a jerk. You need a barf bag to watch this. Please stop posting unless you take some classes.😢
You have never been on a small (or any) dozer have you..,?
@HootakaBJ A CAT D7, but that was years ago. That has nothing to do with the quality of this video. I was being constructive. Take some lessons. Diesel Creeek and Letsdig18 post heavy equipment videos and none of those have the issues you have. You can do better.
Shut up @@rayfreedell4411
You're just upset because your wife likes to sit naked on my lap and feel the vibration. But of course with your personality I guess riding spider with Gomer Pyle on a pink moped would be an improvement over you. Get a life!!
The way the gears are on different tracks you can be building a road and have the upperside that’s cutting the most goin the fastest straightest skid road you’ll build😅
Absolutely
That’s an Aldi’s water bottle. Awesome truck too
next time mount the camera away from the prop noise lol
Wont be no next time. Sold it years ago
I'm 61 and want an ultra-light and learn to fly If you had the chance to by one now what would it be
Por que no usa casco?
Would rather hear motor screaming than that terrible screaming music!.....
Should have checked with you first. Oh well. Guess you voted for Biden!
Question: Do you have to use a clutch to shift from forward to reverse with this dozer? It appears to me you just lower the throttle and that allows the shift from forward to backward - with no clutching necessary. For example, if you both track levers pressed forward pushing something, can you just slow the throttle and the Forward/Reverse level back to reverse, or do you have to return the track levers to neutral first?
Its good practice to slow the engine down before shifting but it is centrifugal type clutch. No foot or manual clutch
Neutral is between forward and reverse. Just slow the rpms
@@wingandaprayeradventures6758 Thanks very much for taking the time to explain this.

There is no clutch on these. It is just the selector lever
450B Case dozer was the first crawler I ever owned. Fond memories. Loved the two-speed track levers, that permitted turns with a full load.
Yeah I sold it two years ago when I finished cleaning up my farm. I missed it the next day. Good day my friend.
You used DREAMS by Van Halen. Didn't the Blue Angels use that back in the 80s? I used it in an RC video. Nice touch. I have the MXL single place. I'm gonna try that camera angle. Nice.
They sure did. I did get a little oil residue on the lens from the exhaust there. FYI
Good man for putting this up. Spoke with a bloke who used this type and brand for many years. Now I understand a good bit more about that conversation
Thank you my friend. I dont know what Id do without TH-cam. I have learned alot of things that I normally wouldnt have access to from it. Have a Blessed day!
Always check your thrust when start your engine. Brake and hold the wing spar before rev to 6000 rpm
This wasnt my first rodeo. Didnt film everything
It's a shame you cant get nothing that reliable these days, same with a JD 350, just feed them their lubricants and coolant, change out your filters and some halfway decent maintenance on wear parts it'll be there.....DEF and associated emissions have ruined the reliable diesel engine.
Yep. I drive a dumptruck. They are always down.
Where can I find a used single seat? Thanks
Facebook has many for sale groups to find what you need
Thanks
Nice dozer! I have an inoperable JD350 I am hoping to start on this winter. Seeing you work gives me something to aim for!
How do you get these details on the screen? Speed ....
When you use GoPro Quick to edit and download your media, there is a setting that lets you select speed, route, direction, altitude and G force. You can use what you want and move it to where you want it on the screen.
I ran one of those for a whole summer back in 1987 - I loved running that machine - great memories
I’m kicking around the idea of one of these or a 350 Deere for some trail maintenance at my home. Nice units!
They are perfect. Small enough to maneuver anywhere and with the tilt and angle of the blade you can manage any slope or drainage issue
How do you find work for a single axle dump I have a 1988 but it’s hard finding work
I bought this for my farm but my community didnt know anyone to haul for them. I went to Vistaprint and made some cards and placed them at fire dept and stores in the area. Word of mouth and social media helps considerably
No es difícil encontrar trabajo para volqueta sencilla ya q estás pasan por dónde no pasa una dobletroque
I’m looking at a small dozer to clear fence lines, driveways, etc and came across your dozer videos. Cool to see first person views and you working the dozer on the farm. I enjoyed watching so I’m going to subscribe.
Thank you my friend. I watch others and learn and like to pass along the info and skill to others. The Case 450 is an excellent machine for the farm and a six way blade is essential. Thank you for the good words.
I also have a single axle dump, they have a lot of trouble loading me because of the bucket size on the loader.
A good loader man uses the corner of his bucket and evens out the load so it wont be too heavy on one side. Its hard to do unless you use a tall loader. My backhoe is just tall enough to load evenly from one side of the truck. I still have to clean my tailboard before leaving the quarry. Be safe brother!!!
I have a single axle dump also . I stopped hauling riprap ! Too much damage caused from the loader not being able to get his bucket down close
Yeah. Im not gonna advertise it. I definitely wont haul shotrock.
What part of ky?
Somerset
why are you flying so fast
I was fighting a tail wind in the air. If you are referring to landing. I always stay in ground effect untill last 100’ to minimize wear and tear on the airframe in the rough field.
That Mac sure sounds seeet...and you are so good on matching the gears for the road speed needs.
I hauled coal in the 80’s. It’s a sweet little truck. I work a full time job and have a farm. I do this part time but make a little extra even though the fuel is high. Thanks my friend.
Can you make money hauling rock? Seems like there would be lots of expense.
There will always be breakdowns, flat tires, fuel and oil costs. You pray for an easy day!
Отличное видео, молодец!!!
Nice starter dozer in Kentucky, my home state ❤️
Good old dozer we have a 450B dozer and track loader and an 850 D I started out on the 450B when I was 10
Looks like fun!!😎
How well do these small dozers handle fairly steep terrain, got a cutting I want to scrape out , lots of sumac and hard wood that's impossible to keep up with.
Very well. They weigh 10000 lbs so the footing and strength is more than appreciated. I cut a road from a steep slope in another video that was hard to negotiate on my side by side. Now I can take my tractor and bushhog up or down it with no problem. Check out the video.
@@wingandaprayeradventures6758 thank you. I need to check some rentals out, think I could do what need in a weekend no problem.
No problem it can really push some dirt it is amazing first time on one i WAS RUNNING IT SOME OF THE OLD TIMMERS WERE IMPRESSED.
I did this in 1987. Eagle xl
I miss it. Been flying since the 80’s myself. Have a PPL. But these are bare bones aviation at it’s best.
Just came across your channel, Your video was suggested to me, I guess because I am clearing land for an orchard so I came to check it out. Enjoyed watching the dozer clear the roads. Hope you have a great day and hope to see you around.
Thank you much for the time to say some good words. I take pride in sharing info that may influence others. We rely on other’s videos for our places we ride, things to see and how to fix things. Have a Blessed Day.
