Dude nice job. Look into plastic lumber as a replacement for the battens you use to hold the Astro down. Maybe more expensive but future proof for your clients

That's some serious work to do on your own. Did you have no help at all and even do all the mixing? Looks great and no doubt it will last with all the prep you did. Just out of interest how long did it take you?

Would it be suitable for a budget offer, to just pour concrete and paint it green? Or use green dye in it? The customers wouldn't have trouble with BBQ, cigarettes, pet droppings, just hose it clean. They can lay artificial grass later, or add pavement on top.

Do the clients force you to do such garden removal, replacing the garden by all pavement and green plastic carpets?

What the heck is going on in UK? All those videos of people razing their garden, building all over with pavement, decks, green plastic carpets, adding various indoor features and then colored lights at night, to make the non-garden look beautiful that way.

Oh no, one more garden removal video, with the garden being replaced by concrete and plastic. And the ever same outdoor living room furniture, fire pit and twilight illumination, to gloss over a completely inappropriate, unnatural, bad design.

Why do you not dig anything out? What’s your thinking behind this method of just putting MOT down over the top of the existing surfaces? Is this a cost saving approach to save having a skip/grab wagon to remove waste
