This was soooo good! This is totally apt for beginners who are just starting. Not too complicated. Can you please show some exercises with pilates stretch band for the thighs?

Okay, so I did this again… I’m wondering if at the end, with the side plank/weight, if my thigh is mostly on the floor but my torso is raised, am I still benefitting from this exercise? 😂 Not gonna quit!!! 💪🏻

What is hip disassociation, and why should you care?🦵✨ Can you move your leg freely within the hip joint while keeping your spine and pelvis stable? If not, you might be lacking full range of motion in your hips. When this happens, nearby joints and muscles, like your lower back, tend to overcompensate, leading to tight, overworked lumbar muscles and weakened abs - definitely not what we want! I wonder that lately i have gained so much if we want to lose weight can we do this exercise or should we do cardio or crossfit such things ?
Thank you for your comment! Pilates is fantastic for building strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall body awareness. While it may not burn as many calories as cardio or CrossFit, it's a great complement to any weight loss program. For effective and sustainable weight loss, I encourage a combination of exercises including cardio, strength training and mobility training - there are many ways to achieve this, including a consistent Pilates practice. Keep in mind that a balanced diet, proper hydration, and adequate sleep are crucial components of a successful weight loss journey. This is a complex topic - would it be helpful if I created a video discussing this in greater detail?

I enjoyed the class,my first ever Pilate's.I just have a question. When I fully extend my right leg,my hip makes a clunking noise ,any advice? Thanks
This is fairly common, especially when you're first building strength and learning stability. Are you experiencing any pain with this? If not, here are a few tips to try: focus on engaging your deep core and keeping your pelvis very still as you circle your leg. You can also reduce the range of motion by making the circles smaller, or try rotating your leg slightly outward or inward to see what feels best. Adding a long band around your foot can also provide support and stability-I can make a short video showing this, if you'd like! Experiment with these adjustments and let me know how it goes!

Oh, my God!! ❤😂 I laughed, died, and had so much fun! I am new and the side plank was not possible on my left side yet (with the weight). I know it will be soon enough! I’d love to see more videos like this one, I love the props! I smiled whenever you cued us to as well. 😂

Thanks! I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for this morning workout wise, this came up as recommended so I thought I'd give it a go. I especially enjoyed the shoulder-opening warmup - I spend far too long hunched at a laptop and also have a baby so double combo there!

Wow! That was so creative, new and quite quite challenging. Balancing on the ball with one foot and the other leg lifting was near to impossible.
