The WD 45 wasn't built until 1953. If it's a 1945 tractor it would have to be a styled WC. WD's weren't built until 1948.

However, its always been my understanding that the odmeter reads gears connected to the rear axle. So if it spins so does the odometer. If you know this won't bother you, ignorance is bliss. If it does in fact bother you buy at least a 14 ft to 16 foot car trailer, double axle, with a winch or install one. Winch; if electrically powered, make certain it has a secondary option to use it manually in case the motor burns up you experience faulty switch or a bad connection. Good hunting.
