You really shouldn't be putting shop air in the ac system due to how wet the air is. Nitrogen would much better.

If you could specify what adapters you used to be able to add shop air to your system that would be great. There's no sense in trying to have everyone try to reinvent the wheel and somehow figure out what adapters are needed. This is the method that I am trying to use but not knowing for sure what the thread pitch and size of the adapters that I need, I've been trying to figure out what I need to buy.

How did the cd009 and 3.73 gear combo work out for you?

You may want to pull that staple out of holding the wires. With all the bouncing of the trailer and all the vibration eventually will cut through the insulation. Just saying.

Good, this test for a/c leaks. Is it done when the vehicle is switched on or not.

Great video! Thanks for sharing. How much stability do you lose when cutting the frame to make holes for the windows? I was told by a salesman that if I install my own windows, I void the warranty (for that reason). I understand that this trailer doesn’t have a warranty, but still curious.

Have you run into problems with EPS absorbing water from condensation on aluminum skin behind it?

Know this is an old video but just have to say too do yourself a favor and get some welding blankets for future builds to protect your glass and other parts from welding sparks.

We build jigs for the weld shop to know where to place the metal hat posts so all are the same. What company built that el cheepo ?

Those trailers don’t have metal hat posts ( uprights ) in the walls ???😮 I never built a Cargo trailer with all wood walls. Stick wood in the metal hat posts is normal but not all wood.

Your shifter problem, I think your looking for a longer yoke out of the transmission.

Did you try a 3 inch body lift for clearance.

my Gf and I refurbed a 1973 16' Shasta Camper that we paid $40 for at an estate auction during the Covid "lockdown" because neither of us had much work, I own a custom bobber shop and she works and she works HR at a Hospital and she worked from home because she was "Non-Essential". Took us a 2 weeks to tear it down to the studs and get it redone including tearing out and rebuilding the rear wall. We had been talking about for a couple years before that because we live in Jacksonville Beach Florida but we travel 2-3 weekends a month to Car Shows in the Southern Georgia/Alabama and Florida, I have a custom 66 International Pick-up and my GF has a 65 Plymouth Belvedere. It saves us a buttload of money because we can just hook the camper up to my truck and stay at a State Park because for $25-$30 a night and that's ALOT cheaper than $100 a night at a Motel. It paid itself off before the first summer was off.

I have a 2001 4x4 Tacoma thinking about an LS motor to put in it

I’m just curious how difficult and expensive it would be. I have a 97 extended cab with the 2.7 5 speed in it. It doesn’t have a problem pushing 35s with an 8 inch lift. BUT, I wouldn’t mind having some more power. I’m curious if this is the best swap to do and would I need any specific type of things done to the truck. Id also like to keep a manual transmission so if the trans in it doesn’t work with the motor what manuals will?

Hey man, live the videos. One thing I know helps me when doing the rear ends is taking the rear bolts of the leaf springs out and using them as a ramp to take out or to even put back in.

Was this axle shortened ?

Could have ditched the rack n pinion and went with a p/S gear box and have more room and options for the steering shaft. Plus if you need to build your own intermediate shaft just get donors from 4runners or Toyota pickups, plus early first gen Tacoma's have longer steering columns that go through the firewall instead of mostly the floor.

So good to see the little one showing interest. Also way glad to see you allowed him to stay and help further nurturing the interest in a skilled trade. I'll bet in a few short years he'll be building trailers that would make our heads spin.
