Exactly the guitar I want 😃
Красиво конечно, но очень много материала оказалось на выброс - нерационально!
Ok, I now need one. 🤩
Wow! Love it!
Awesome!!!
Apakah saya boleh minta skala pembuatan gitar nya?
Hi man, beautiful work! I'm working on a similar shape for the arm and belly chamfer and I don't know how thick the part in between needs to be, how thick was it on this project ?
it all depends on the look you want. i wanted it quite thin so i think its about 10-15mm
THALL
Great work, you must be very proud.
Clean work! What are you using to dye the top?
crimson guitars stunning stain
What is the type of material used for the Shuttlewood logo? Dry transfer?
just a vinyl transfer
Brilliant and well done, loved the demo at the end. Just a thought (as a producer myself/mixer) I have noticed that the dingwall demos and other fanned fret designs have the pickup not following the bridge angle. So the lower the string the farther form the bridge will have a tone change which will cause the higher strings to pop out more tone wise. Getting clarity from the lower strings is always key. Have you thought about having it lined up with the bridge?
Stunning build. I have a Dingwall Combustion. I love it. I tune Standard B-G, but have a double drop tuner that I preset to Bb and Ab. Is drop F tuned F-C-F-Bb-Eb? Why did you choose 34-36.5” instead of 34-37”? What gauges are your strings? Why no tone controls? Sorry so many questions. You have gained a subscriber.
cheers man the reason i went for the slightly shorter scale length was purely for comfort. drop F is F-C-F-A#-D the reason for no tone knob is because ill only ever need this for recording and i can eq it in my DAW and i cant remember the gauge i had on it at the time. i now have it set up in drop A
@@shuttlewoodguitars966 A#/Bb to D is a major 3rd. Why would you want that? Might help if you are playing chords, but would mess up my mind being a bassist mostly who only dabbles in guitar.
Я очень впечатлен и не понимаю почему так мало подписчиков и просмотров! Великолепная работа, продолжай, уже год не было видео!
Amazing!!!!⚡
Beautiful bass !!!
What was the idea with the wood burning? Does it also add more definition to the grain? Just asking because I've seen people get a similar look in different ways (like wire brushes and the vinegar and steal wool trick)
it was to deepen the grain. just a way that works for me
holy shit!!! you made that??! love your channel
love your playing too
How do you make sure that the bridge is at the same height/angle as the run of the neck?
i draw all my builds out by hand at a 1:1 scale to work out every angle
The Through neck+body can make the line on a horizontal line,The height of the bridge is Fingerboard thickness+Height of the fret+2mm(max).
Such a great video! About how many guitars do you build a year, man?
it goes up and down. last year i built 2 and the year before i built 3. unfortunately this year i haven't made any
What about that strato 7 string template? Did you design it or can be found somewhere ?
hi! , a have a question, the template body for this guitar is the same as a normal six string fender stratocaster ?
yes
Badass bass I'd love one just like it myself
You're truly an artist mate! 😳🎸🤘
Those bridge saddles look pretty close too the bottom of the body. Especially the saddle for the low B string.
How scare was it to cut the fretslots by hand?
for me it wasnt that bad because ive trained as a traditional cabnet maker to im pretty confident with a hand saw
@@shuttlewoodguitars966 nice. I've built 8 guitars and different furniture pieces, but I haven't done a fan fret. It's up next. I think I'll do it the same way, as I can't find a CNC machinist near me who can do it for a decent price.
@@PelleKuipers just take your time and double check your measurements
Wow its amazing bass, awesome handmade manufacture :)
473 subscribers WTF? That's some bullshit. This guy has mad skills... subscribe bitches! Great build dude.
cheers man
Gott respect the hard work, amazing 🙏🔥
Did you use small frets also ornsomething taller?
I cant remember the actual size it is. It feels like a medium jumbo hight but a bit narrower
What model evertune did you get? Is that the F7??
yeah thats the f7
How much this guitar weights?
Sick guitar, sick playing. You should make a headless guitar 👌👌👌
Looks like dingwall in steroids.
I love the process but why not show us the result at the end? 😢
You nailed it men 🐼⚡
Very nice work all around. That little 45 degree block for trimming miters is brilliant. Can't believe I haven't seen that before.
Dude! clean work! I'm getting ready to build and paint a superstrat body and this video series is pretty inspiring! Makes me want to made a laminated 5 piece like yours after my next project.
I'm pretty good at making guitars at this point. Mad respect. This is very nice. I _suck_ however at making videos, and it isn't something I particularly like anyway, so please take this next bit as constructive criticism. I see full build videos quite frequently where the luthier jams the final fit and setup of the guitar into the last two minutes and then doesn't even bother to show the completed instrument. I know you have the thumbnail and that's fine, but honestly the last leg of the build is the most interesting portion because the guitar actually comes to life. It's a bit of an odd editing choice, and so many videos have this quirk. Am I missing something?
Just realized, looking at your channel's video list, that this video appears to be the only one that is presented all as one big file. Have you got any photos of the guitar online anywhere? I'd like a closer look.
@@peachmelba1000 i know the last part of the build is a bit rushed and i would have liked to have shown more. The reason for this is because i had a deadline i was trying to meet so the client could use it for a show. If you check out my IG page @shuttlewoodguitars you'll fine final pictures of all my builds there.
Enjoying your build 👍☕️
Absolutely THALL. Beast guitar
What kind of wood is the body made of ? Hell of a beautiful guitar! You got some mad skills..
Cheers man. Its a black limba body with a pommele Mahogany top.
Beautiful. Those gold frets are lush
Magnificent work! What kind of spray can did you use around 21:45? I guess it's a primer, or does it serve another purpose for the final finish?
yeah its just a primer to give it a base coat
Dude, I absolutely love your guitars. Seriously impressive. There are many builders that impress me, but few that make me think, yeah, I’d have one of those.
Cheers mate that means alot
Amazing!
absolutely beautiful guitar !
Thank you so much 😘😘
Awesome work lad, glad you came around to posting this one! Any more things you've documented that are in the pipeline?
Cheers mate. Ive just got to finish up editing the videos for the purple 7 string I made
Nice one.
Thank you
Brilliant, what a great looking bass. Does the neck have a truss rod ?
yeah it does have a truss rod and two graphite stiffening rods
