It was totally full on Saturday as we expected, and started clearing out Sunday, but many stayed through Monday, and even Tuesday, which we did not expect. I guess weekday camping is catching on, lol! Luckily, our site was roomy and far enough from our neighbors to feel somewhat private. Thanks for your nice comments! 😊

Thanks! No, we haven’t been to Buckeye Lake. I know it’s a great lake for fishing and boating, but we tend to go to smaller lakes for kayak fishing. We would probably try it, though, if they had a campground, but it’s one of the few Ohio state parks that doesn’t have one. Do you fish or boat there? Let us know how you like it, if you do. @@trudythomas1611 we sometimes do informal reviews of things we like, and we did go into some detail about our e-bikes when we first got them in our Deer Creek video linked below. We got these because they are lightweight and fold up small enough to fit in our truck, even when we have a tonneau cover on it. @rollingwiththestonescamping it's a nice lake. I wouldn't fish there for cat fish . I'm not sure about bass because I have never fished for bass but fishing for trout is good there

It really is a nice park, especially the bike trails. The lake is not the best for kayaking, but pond fishing is still pretty good. We actually rode our bikes to the restaurant, it’s very close by. No, we didn’t know about the new disc golf course, a lot of people enjoy that. I love the people who volunteer at the state parks, and those we have met really seem to enjoy what they are doing and the camaraderie they have with their fellow volunteers. Kudos to all of you! We will definitely be back there next year! 😊
