Looks like a Southern California El Nino storm.

We had a storm just like this in early February, 1998 during the 1997-1998 El Nino. It was very electric with 70 MPH winds, torrential rain and even small hail and street flooding.

Here in Southern California, we get storms like this during El Nino mainly in January and February

WOW! It's a real severe electrical storm. Looks like that street is getting flooded.

Where is this located at

I had a storm this bad once. Was about two years ago. The wind was almost as scary as the lightning but we didn’t end up getting a ton of rain. Was by far the best light show I’ve ever seen though.

I was south of the storm so it missed me to the north

I watched the whole thing Jack, great video!!! Just a couple of minutes in that was a hell of a crash of thunder. Then about 10 minutes in, you captured some really great bolts over the houses across the street! I have one coming up that I think you will like!!!

I was flying into Orlando, FL on July 5th, 2022 and probably saw this same system. I remember how there were severe thunderstorm warnings all across the route. They were all to the West of my flight and all I could see out of my window were CBs and convective clouds. Very interesting experience
