What a nightmare of epic proportions 😂 The real shame is the Bobby Gee, Mike Nolan, Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston never reformed for the last 3 studio Albums. Mike Stock from Stock, Aitken and Waterman was behind their later work. The 2020 Album Smoke and Mirrors is really good.

My first experience of Spike was as a young boy, when his passing was announced. The ABC played a reading he did of Badjelly the Witch which he'd read and some kids had voiced the characters, though I also fondly remember The Ratties. It wasn't until my highschool years I fully got to experience Spike's writing and humour with my first checkings out from the library of the Goon Show. Now I can watch Q online if I can find episodes.
