YOOO I REMEMBER THIS GAME BRO I remember playing it on my android phone but remember nothing about it except for the gimmick. I never knew it was from EA and it looks like it was wiped off both AppStores (unless it was never on the Apple Store, I only remember it on android) I never knew that the block placement was like that, nor how the powerups weren’t the entire gimmick. I thought nobody else knew what it was besides me and saw that nobody else had covered it but so glad that people still remembered it. Too bad it doesn’t work on iOS anymore I lost my android but loved this game. yikes this is a lot of yap (also I just realized I put the gimmick referring to the powerups, since I was commenting as the video went. but anyways the powerups from what I remember were the gimmick but I didn’t remember the frenzy. odd. anyways I only played this on an android so my bad on the Apple Store part)

Was this demo released on a magazine disc or included with another game as a bonus feature? I don't recall seeing this before and I used to play lots of demo discs back then.

Wow, I might've actually bought this game if it was released back then. Would it have been as good as The Chronicles of Riddick Escape From Butcher's Bay? Probably not, but we could've gotten a fun licensed FPS game here. Extra cool if the dev could've got Vin Diesel to reprise his role in this game too. I miss 6th/7th gen FPS games now.

i know that i can play the lastest version but tbh i rlly miss the 2013 version (specially the one with the super 7 power up) but is literally impossible to pass the network error screen, i tryed everything, that version was rlly better

i used to play this all the damn time going to school for years. i remember the absolute crushing disappointment when it closed because it was my main time sink if i needed something to do. i would be happy that the apk is back but unfortunately internet archive is down for the foreseeable future

they should have cancelled suicide squad and made an multiplayer game which would be a more fleshed out version of origins online

My guess is that they were developing gangland, but when Arkham Origins came around, they just continued their work there, as origins files is nearly identical to city, considering both versions were made by splash damage, this would make sense Ig this could also answer why we hear Mark Hamil's joker laugh in the Joker Funhouse, and why the City takedown sound is used (besides the intensity sfx before that)

It wasn”t cancelled, they were just told by WB to make it an expansion for AO. (thus being AO Online) This is also the reason the Arkham City Skins were in the Online mode but not Single Player.

1:45 “…and the thugs they are brawling in the background” I am 99.99% sure that those models are brand new made specifically for Arkham Gangland. I’ve played Arkham City a MILLION times on different consoles and I’ve never seen some of those thug models (especially the Joker thugs)

I love how tetris blitz is still playable except leaderboards, battles and the bonus blitz doesn't work. But going back to my favourite game 4 years ago has been very fun indeed.

I also remember back when Tetris Blitz was still up, I remember getting a lot of enjoyment from it, especially the timed game and the power-ups I got. Heck, I even remember there being the Retro Tournament, and occasionally, I was the one who got first place, with the prize of 125,000 coins, if my memory serves me right. But those were days.

I’m pretty sure this somehow was made using Eurocom’s proprietary engine, EngineX or redubbed as EngineXT, which was first created during their first game to use that engine, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and other games Eurocom develops. Or it somehow used a different game engine, rather than Unreal Engine, but 3, CryEngine or other game engines. But seeing those, seemed to be more reasonable, but pretty neat with much of how it was in development, but being worked on for either at least a few months or weeks.

A few months ago i rediscovered the tetris EA 2011 version (still play it) and discovered Tetris blitz. I didn't want the 2016 version and was eager to play the older version so i kept searching for a functional older version (which i did) and now I'm the happiest 17 year old having a blast playing them.

I think preservation is IMMENSELY IMPORTANT. But i do not see how this would coincide with normal tetris. I have not played this game nor want to. Just seems to take out anything technical about the game. Doesnt seem to have any layout strats or tspin potential. The forced slots look super limiting. I have an ios phone (trust me i dont want to. im locked to this terrible ecosystem) and i dont want to waste space to install bluestacks again. Am i right about this or should i genuinely try this out? I thought this was an april fools joke at first.

Wow, this video really brought back some memories! I remember playing Tetris Blitz like crazy back in the day. It was such a fun spin on the classic Tetris formula, perfect for those quick gaming sessions on my phone. It's a shame it got retired, but at least there are ways to still enjoy it. Anyone else here miss Tetris Blitz as much as I do?
