Doesn’t matter which of the points you move you’re getting it out of time. Essentially just trying to get it in time. Hopefully that makes sense
is if the crank pin is touching the crank all the way at TDC, and the cam sprocket tool doesn’t go in ? You move the cams to get it in, now the flat piece in the back doesn’t go in flush. That’s the issue we’re having right now with ours and we’re thinking it’s a defective timing tool but maybe we’re missing some detail. Lemme know your 2 cents
Hi
@@WyattWallace-z7y hey dude thanks for watching the video! I’ll have some new ones soon.
Hi I Ellis boyfriend
was the seatbelt that yall used for that motor out of the Accord or a different car? from what I've seen the seat bet tek is the most common so far.
The honda accords have the "eco" k24 with only around 160 hp, meaning no 3 lobes on both the intake and exhaust camshafts. You have to look for the 2004 to 2008 tsx if you want true vtec and stock 190 to 200 plus hp. Unless you guys are planning on switching the cylinder head for a better flowing one like a k20a2 or a rbb stamped k24a
What about the ones in the Crv’s?
Did you use the flywheel tool?
No that was the only one I did not. I have used it on a previous vehicle I did.
Good vídeo
Hey how did you get this kit?
Sorry for the late response. I ordered this from Alternative Conversions but I’m not sure if they’re still selling them. I heard something about possible new versions and I also heard they might not be selling them anymore.
THIS IS A JOB YALL DO NOT DO AT HOME!!!!
Very curious to see the corvette wheels on it!
where’s the video ?
Hey guys hello how much did you paid for that k24 ?
way too much, pull a part sucks major
next time, consider dropping the engine method. it's easier and much quicker. disconnect the harness, remove the steering shaft (there is a little screw under the steering wheel area that will disconnect the shaft), shifter cabes, then the shock nuts... then lastly, the cradle bolts. the whole subassy drops out (dirve axles, shocks, engine, tranny, etc). im sure i missed a couple things, but you get the idea.
Nice! How do I find this video??
Does the Disco 2 have a rear locker or just a center locker?
@6thGearGarage Unfortunately for me the 03” is the only one that doesn’t have the center diff. Lock. I’m going to put the 04” CLD in it though and planned on air lockers as well.
@@theshopspot9053 in 2024, we gotta do an 80 Series vs Disco 2 comparison... that would be a lot of fun
Buster hitching a ride on the trailer 😂
“ off road hogggggs “
K24 in a boat. I GOTTA see that. Anyway, I also pulled a K24 (from a TSX) at pull a part without even expecting to do so that day. No tool prep and still managed to get it out. They're pretty easy to pull mostly!..
I don’t understand you say you gonna show and than don’t ?
So no video was ever done
That camera man seems lazy... Mike and Paul did most of the work
Where is the video
Uh... work in progress?
So no video???
I'll assume he didn't fuck up and assume he's still working on the video.
Where is the video
So, where is the video?
Got the same car do you have to take off the timing belt in order to replace the water pump????
Yes!
I have the 2.0 ecoboost and I need to redo my timing chain and oil pump. Got any videos on them??? Lol
Subscribed. Here because I'm a fwd dodge nut and that Omni makes the logo impossible for me not to love. Lol how many omnis do you have, I thought I spotted 2 so far in the couple videos I watched
I love my dad such a good worker
Very enjoyable to finally see you guys being productive together. Can't wait for future videos.
A day @ The Shop Spot is always a good time!
You might consider pallet racking. I purchased some and it has worked great. I got the kind that has the wire shelving and is four feet deep. The problem with our pole buildings is we need all the floor space we can get and we need to go up high. Good luck.
Properly sent! 👍😂
What is the ceiling height and garage door height?
Nice shop! What is the ceiling height? And garage door height?

It would be nice if you hooked up with Randy @Auto Auction Rebuilds. He will be building a shop and sales lot at his new place. Maybe you can be of assistance.
what number was it? Report it to the registry
They show the tag @ 1:24 but I can't see it too well... # 2713?
@@6thGearGarage That's the engine number plate. The car number plate should be on the instrument cluster bezel, right side of the column, and should be numbered up to 750.
