I was haha... I had no idea who they were so they could have been really good (it happens) but as soon as I got vision on their base I knew so just had some fun.

Yeah but did you notice how it wouldn't deploy? And this is speeded up so I was clicking and pressing for it to deploy the Engineers for absolutely ages! I don't know why, maybe too close to the wall? Never happened before though. This gave them chance to spot it and place a Tesla, if it had deployed the Engineers as soon as I landed there's a good chance I'd have captured a building. ARMEEN is definitely the best player I've ever faced on this map. However, I reckon I had the upper hand at the beginning but horrendous lag kicked in and he was also helped by Cyan. Having said that, I'm so glad Green came to fight him also! haha

@@CraigNiel For sure I did see that and was why I was like "FFS that sucks!" I could see it would deploy and felt your pain brother. ARMEEN is very good and builds fast no doubt. You out maneuvered him from the start!

@@CraigNiel That happens to me all the time. Nothing more frustrating than pressing deploy for 30 seconds with nothing happening and then a tesla pops up as they finally start to pop out.

It was fun but my Team Mates were not good enough to compete with the opponents. Green was a very good player and the other two are decent, I simply cannot take them on without good Team Mate. If you look around 10:30 I'm ready to go and they are still setting up so I have to wait because if I attack now I'll lose all my units vs 3. I nearly did go then to see if I could break through and maybe I should have given it a go! No hate towards the players though, it's all fun! 👍👍

I've got some regular map games recorded too. Some Arena Valley and Ribbon etc... Even the regular map games are the same few just recycled. It would be nice for more variety which I've tried, even creating my own maps but people just don't want to play them.

You can only play what people want to play which is why you see the same maps. Campaigns are lame once you know what the hell you're doing as we all can kill the hardest Ai they have in our sleep. It's a chess match you are watching so look at it that way. The chess board remains the same, but the game is always different.

The only thing I can think of is they didn't have vision on our entrance so presumed (wrongly) lots of tesla defence. By the time they attempted our entrance I had the defence completely sewn up, they were never getting through that entrance. I'd have loved to have seen the stats on this one because I must have taken out thousands running on that entrance. lol...

Unfortunately, yes. I wish they could do something about it, it totally ruins the game.

@@CraigNiel I messed around with tech level 8 it allows only one MCV. You get everything else like in T9. Be interesting to see if people would play it.

@@maxtanicgaming I re-did the mega-x 1-Way map with only one MCV (like the IRON RUSH) map. Tried it a couple of times and people didn't seem to like it. I thought it was quite fun because it stopped anyone just spamming Tesla etc... you had to fight more with Tanks.

I don't like Guillo, he has a tendency to rush which totally ruins games. His tactic of constantly building outside as you chase him down is annoying as fek but more importantly, it's a stupid tactic. He knows he can't get a foot hold outside I have too many tanks so he'd be much better off building inside and solidifying the entrance with Tesla. I usually put a halt to this kind of building quickly by moving my Tanks with Q attack so they are in the way of any new buildings but the stupid things just wouldn't move there quick enough! The other two were ok, the only clown was Guillo. 👍👍

Yes, he always plays the same way. And if he loses interest because it's hopeless, he sometimes leaves the game straight away. It's really annoying to "run after" his buildings. Actually, it is only important to close your own entrance to the base directly. 😅

@@nuts-00 If you can get into their base quickly it doesn't matter about their buildings outside but if you leave buildings outside and go for the entrance then they can build a large force outside and attack from behind. It's generally very important to get rid of their buildings before going for the entrance. And of course it's really important to close your won entrance!

I know right? Dude panics like a little girl at everything, popping beacons like candy if someone came near him! 🤣🤣 He knew it was me because he first kicked me from his room thinking I'm noob. I re-entered and said I'm xjinx, He put me on his team right away. So they all know who I was. The other guys played well, I was set up long before they were (I was actually quite slow for me) and I told them in the lobby I go 75% that's why I didn't attack super early like I normally would and pin them quickly in their base. The other guys are no slouches they all know how to play and if you fuck around too much you'll find out real quick! 🤣🤣 I don't win em all but if I'm with decent players like yourself I will rarely lose on this map.

Harvesters are a law unto themselves, they go where they want and do what they want and it's generally what you don't want! 🤣🤣

I'd forgotten about this game and just watched it again. Cyan wasn't the best, if I'd gotten two players on the same level as Yellow this would have been a tough game.

He seems to be hit n miss lately. Same as PinkPanther, some games they play really well, others not so much. They may have been resting on their laurels thinking they had a stacked team then they got hit hard before they even set up. Once that happens it can be very hard to recover.

I get stuck in mega-map mode and Tesla+V2 is a deadly, but expensive, combination. 👍👍

Maps with high regrowth are the few that you can spam refineries. But you know that

@@paulkhouri120 Could be, worth thinking about! I'll have to be mindful of that in future and see how it goes. I think they just managed their Ore better and also had the gems which gave them a huge advantage.

I wondered why you just disappeared. Yes we played this just last night so I wanted to get it uploaded as it was fresh in my mind to commentate on.

@@CraigNiel Don't get me wrong it was fun at first. But like you we totally ran out of ore at the end, And as a team decieded that we would only mine with one ore truck each to let the ore grow. Problem with that is that it became boring as hell just doing nothnig. So I quit to let the other two players use the remaining ore.

@@fmigmc-reaper8835 That explains how your Ore lasted then. Although the Gems should have given you a huge boost, I'm surprised you didn't go all in after mining those. It's quite a good map and I look forward to playing it again but I will get those Gems quickly next time!

Already sub'd I've been watching Bikerushownz for a while now. He stopped playing Red Alert and moved onto the later games but has recently posted some more Red alert games. He's a very good Quick Match player.

Yeah, relaxing fun game. Some mistakes though. I let a pink Infantry in at the beginning, I missed that during the game, very sloppy. I usually build out with Barracks so have a fast Infantry production, I didn't and forgot to build them so when I went for Tanya inside their base it was building super slow. I also forgot to build a Tech Centre (to get the Tanya) and all this should have been in place before I even went in, sloppy! I should have also scouted better so Yellow wasn't a surprise South. But I needed to hit them super fast because if you let them get set up in a 2vs3 then it's a difficult game. I also know OPEN SLOT likes to build Heli which is good because I forego that for speed to their base and didn't want the enemy getting all the Heli. If I built Heli and tried to set up more they'd have got out their base and I was hoping to prevent that.

Yeah, can't win em all! Posting losses as single games is a bit of a downer as people like to see the win. I would post a loss (and I have) as a single game if it's a really good game and worth seeing but generally a loss isn't something people want to see. I also know it's impossible to win every game but I do win a lot more than I lose and I'm happy with that. 👍👍

Yeah why I listened to him on Twin waters I'll never know. all I had to do was take out yellow and the game was ours! Doh!

No need on these infinite money maps, messing about with Harvesters is just wasting time. The only time I will micro-manage Harvesters on this map is if some of my Ore Ref's are taken out, then the Harv's will get clogged up all trying to go to the same Ore Ref. Once the money starts coming in it never stops so no need to waste time on them. Jeffeskey and aCheshii micro-manage Harv's at the beginning (instructing them to go to the Ore directly next to the Ore Ref they've just deployed) but I've tried this and found it makes little to no difference to resources gathered and ultimately just wastes time that could be spent deploying MCV's faster. 👍👍 However, if you have a specific point or tip you think would help I'm all ears as I'm always willing to learn new things.

I can't remember if I told them who I was before we started to be honest. But yeah, probably not the best balance! However, you wouldn't believe the amount of games I've been put with not one but two complete noobs if using my real name. It can be a lot of fun because it gives me a chance to really go at it against multiple players but you inevitably lose because it's almost impossible to win against multiple decent players no matter how good you are.

Yeah he liked to complain! 🤣🤣
