Im very confused when people say we cant wear jewelry. God gave people jewelry and fine linen so why would this be a sin?

I have had several raptures which I couldn't make it in none except the last. Unfortunately in the last, I took no one with me, so my warning. In one of the raptures I was taken to a place of purgatory. That's when I learned in this Catholics believe still takes place on earth, because after this and more conviction of the Holy Spirit , I made it finally but alone which is another warning to win souls.
