long time no see! not your regularly scheduled content but also sort of a return to form for me. i wrote a lot of poetry in high school (and still do write!) if you couldn't tell by the cadence of this essay, so being punchy and critical was just not in the cards for me with this one. if you just came here for the video essays - sorry! you'll just have to stick around for the next one
